The house is very comfortable and literally just steps from Niagara-on-the-Lake’s historic downtown. In addition, it’s also located just 1 1/2 blocks from the oldest golf course in North America (celebrating 150 years this year) and Lake Ontario. Perhaps the only downside to the house is the upstairs bath/shower. Although the antique claw foot tub was cute, the shower enclosure made showering less than desirable. Enough so, that our friends ended up showering in the downstairs shower. Even with this inconvenience, all 4 of us would definitely stay at the Cedar House again! ##### Dennis D. The upstairs did get a little warm overnight, would recommend a fan & we did have some issues with the fire alarm going off randomly during the day twice and once overnight.Overall though it was a great stay! We recommend Balzacs coffee, apple fritter place next to Balzac, Bella Terra winery and ask for Paul, & Corks for dinner! ##### Elyn M. This was the perfect place for us old folks to go to the Shaw Festival. It’s very handy to the Main Street. The furnishings are beautiful. Nice big kitchen to make breakfast.
