Renovated, charming self-contained guest cottage in Old Town Niagara on the lake. The address is 428 Simcoe Street. License number 027-2022\. The cottage is surrounded by lovely gardens and is scented with its many roses. There is a secluded garden in the back, with patio furniture and barbecue. Our cottage contains one bedroom with a queen-size en-suite and access to a patio garden. The bathroom is equipped also with a washer and dryer. A full-size kitchen with all stainless steel appliances includes a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and much more. The living area has a fireplace, comfortable sofa-bed, two love seats, cable TV/DVD, W5 internet connection, air-conditioned, and cathedral ceilings throughout. The property is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and theaters. It is 0.7 kilometers from the town center. The cottage is smoke-free and children are welcomed. Our one-bedroom cottage can accommodate up to 4 people, 2 adults, and 2 children. One bedroom with queen size bed and armoire, ensuite bathroom, and access to the garden. The living room can accommodate the two other guests on a comfortable pull-out sofa-bed. A fireplace is in the living room. Prices will show on Home Away and VRBO as USD $ but will be converted to CAD $. To view prices in CAD $ please refer to HomeAway.ca. Our cancellation policy is: \-50% deposit is required upon reservation. We came to see plays at the Shaw Festival; stayed four nights and saw six plays. Positives were the kitchen cooking vessels and implements—everything you could think of—and the best bed ever!!!Hanging our clothes was a challenge with no closets! We ended up leaving our hanging clothes in our car. We would have liked more than two hand towels for the bathroom—plenty of bath towels and wash cloths. Additional hand towels, tea towels and dish cloths would have been helpful. We needed a dustpan and brush, and a broom would have been nice.The location was a bit far from the Festival Theatre and downtown.
