« This is an excellebt plot with enclosed garden, great with dogs and your own gate onto the beach. The views are stunning when the tide is in you are just several steps from getting into the sea, which is surprisingly blue and warmed up quickly on a sunny day. People were swimming in it in May although i think i would have wanted a short sleeved wet suit before making thd plunge. Lodge itself great, very well appointed...if going with dogs make sure to take towels as cream carpet a bit concerning...

« When we arrived, the lodge was spotlessly clean. It’s in a perfect location with wonderful views all around. Me and my wife would just sit and watch the horses trot by and the Red Kites loop around the sky. The Hot Blast trail is a great way to burn a few calories after breakfast and gives even better views from up around Neilson’s monument. We will definitely be back. »

« Really away from it all location which made travel a bit longer but so worthwhile. Large comfortable warm lodge with loads of stuff for young kids, masses of space inside and out and brilliant old style bedrooms. Lovely, helpful available onsite housekeepers. Great trip, totally worth the drive. »
