This delightful cottage, which accommodates up to four people and their pets, is within walking distance of the beach and has been upgraded to offer high-standard, comfortable, and cosy accommodation. It serves as an ideal base to explore the stunning landscapes and attractions of Dumfries and Galloway. Monreith, nestled in the Machers region of Wigtownshire, provides easy access to the nearby town of Port William and other unique destinations such as Whithorn, Garlieston, Portpatrick, and Wigtown, known as Scotland's National Book Town. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the cottage's proximity to St Medan Golf Club, Scotland's most southern course, which offers spectacular coastal views along its 18 holes. For those less inclined towards golf, the area boasts a variety of other attractions, including Glenluce Abbey, Logan Botanic Gardens, Mull of Galloway Lighthouse, and the famous maze at Dunskey Gardens. The single-storey traditional cottage features an entrance porch with storage for coats and boots. The living room with double sofa bed, accessible via two steps from the porch, includes a cosy wood burning stove and a dining area. The well-equipped kitchen caters to all your culinary needs.
