Located at the north end of Nye Beach, you'll appreciate quiet surroundings with the beach nearby and a wide variety of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The house has a bright and airy atmosphere - in the main living area is an assortment of comfortable furniture, a wood fireplace, board game collection, and flatscreen TV with a DVD player (WiFi included). Large picture windows offer spectacular ocean views, which you'll enjoy even more from the patio furniture on the sunny, wrap-around deck. A fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make delicious meals, including a blender, mixer, coffeemaker, and dishwasher. Six will fit around the dining table for a pleasant dinner together. Downstairs, a den features a flatscreen TV and furniture - a perfect place for the kids to play while the adults spend time upstairs (please only use the upstairs fireplace, as the downstairs one is for decoration only). Step outside to the garden and enjoy a tranquil soak in the hot tub, regardless of the weather. With three bedrooms and two full baths, this home is suitable for up to eight guests (six adults maximum). Two bedrooms downstairs each offer a queen bed with a shared full bath between them. In the den is a sofabed, and there's a private washer/dryer as well. The master bedroom upstairs has a king-size bed and a full private bath. This house is ideal for a family or group of friends - head to the beach to play around in the surf and the sand, then walk down to the shops and cafes of Nye Beach, where you might grab a coffee and peruse the ocean-inspired art galleries. A short drive south is the Oregon Coast Aquarium - great fun for the kids and a sure way to tire them out to ensure your evening is a peaceful one. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. The view is stunning. There is a path to the beach within a block or so. It is an easy walk to the beach (trail starts a few homes to the south) and the hot-tub and garage are nice features. The kitchen and modern bathrooms had everything we needed. It is a beautiful home for a family vacation on the coast. All that being said, in my experience, Vacasa does not always do the best job of maintaining excellent properties for owners. This house was beautiful and very clean, but there were a few small things I want to mention (mostly for the owners). We noticed pretty quickly that two of the smoke detectors were missing, and a third looked like it was a decade or two past its expiration date. We flagged this with Vacasa as it is a safety and liability issue. The remaining items were all cosmetic, but they do make a difference: the dryer door was held closed via a bungee cord, the door seals on the washing machine were filthy (we had to clean them before running a load), and the dishwasher had 1.5" of standing water in the bottom when we first opened it (I cleaned the strainer and ran an empty cycle which seemed to fix it). I would definitely rent this home again, but I would be more enthusiastic if the owners watched Vacasa a bit more closely. ##### Steven D. Which is amazing. The house however was very dated, smelly and did not reflect the pictures. The hot tub was dirty and we did not feel comfortable using it. The smell in the lower level is unbearable for two of the bedrooms. The house is very dated and the furniture in the main level is dirty. The towels were like cardboard and in poor condition. The views and location are amazing.. The proximity to restaurants and beaches is a definite plus. My only suggestions are providing better and more paper products, plates, glasses, and silverware. Also, no ice cream scoop, or serving spoons. With 6 people we ran the dishwasher way too often. The dishwasher wheels kept falling off. Both bathroom drains were clogged. There is one bedroom upstairs with bath and two bedroom downstairs with a bath. Sound did travel between floors but there were fans in the closets for "white noise". The description said 1 King and 2 queen, but there were actually 2 King size beds and a queen. There is a family room downstairs that was great for having kid toys separate from adult conversation areas. We loved the hot tub also! Very close to beach path (but steep path). View lovely. The kitchen was well-supplied except for large spoons! We also were unable to find recycling containers so we took it home with us. It was very rainy while we were there and on the last morning there was a drip from the room into the upstairs hall. We put a bucket under it.
