It's a fantastic spot for exploring on foot, with a number of restaurants and shops in the surrounding blocks. You'll also be close to the Newport Historic Bayfront (one mile), Agate Beach State Recreation Site (one mile), the renowned Oregon Coast Aquarium (two miles), and the whale-watching epicenter of Depoe Bay (13 miles). The view is the star attraction here, whether you're sipping your coffee on the covered balcony or watching the waves roll in through the living room's picture window. Summer or winter, the condo is bright and comfortable. Prepare meals with ease in the open kitchen, sit down for dinner and card games at the dining table, and stream movies by the gas fireplace afterwards - all with a view of the ocean. In the evenings, there's another TV in the bedroom, a washer/dryer to refresh your swimsuits, and complimentary WiFi to help you plan tomorrow's adventures. Direct view of the Pacific ocean and Yaquina lighthouse to the north. It was a 3rd floor unit with a deck right on the beach. Close to fun pubs and bars and shopping. Great restaurants in Newport and short drive to unique wineries to the north. The views are stunning and a great getaway and reset. Eugene is the closest airport and small and easy. I was there with 3 of my grown grandchildren and we had the best time. I will stay again. The view is wonderful. The deck is nice, with chairs. It was so nice to just open the sliding door and enjoy the sound of the ocean and soak in the great view of the ocean. There are lots of places to eat and shop within walking distance, and of course Nye Beach is also within easy walking distance. Will definitely book this in the future. This condo, however, advertises that it will sleep 4 - it will sleep two adults and two children, definitely not four adults. The second bed is a pull-out bed from a loveseat - very small and uncomfortable. Having two full bathrooms was a big plus for 4 people. I would recommend not to plan to cook any meals and just rely on the microwave, coffeemaker and refrigerator. There is only one pot with a lid. Four burner stove is small. The fry pans were ridiculously huge and much too large for the stove top. However, the condo is located close to cafes and many quick or fast foods places and of course take home or delivery. Overall, you can't go wrong reserving this condo...the views and the easy access to the beach and all shopping you would need close by.
