The cottage is surrounded by the ocean and 500 acres of trails right across the street. Experience your vacation where you can start your day with a hike, buy fresh produce at roadside stands and farms, and sample local cheeses and great wines. There's a full-size kitchen with a comfortable dining area. The open plan living room views the natural setting and has a 1/2 bath, opening onto a deck that overlooks a vernal pond and birdhouses. The second floor has a full bath with a shower/tub combination, and two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a twin-day bed. The Cottage is in a wondrous part of New England. Exactly a 1/2 mile from the Cottage and a pleasant walk is the quaint New England 18th-century Village of Tiverton Four Corners. Enjoy the fresh air as you walk around and enjoy the beautiful coffee shop and deli, antiques, decorative home shops, galleries, and studios with handmade pottery and boutique clothing. However the kitchen was not adequately equipped. Only four dinner plates and not enough utensils. No cereal bowls! We had family come to visit and I asked them to bring tableware. I bought paper plates. The dishwasher was in poor condition but hardly necessary with so little tableware. It's close to Fogland Beach, which is some nice cheap fun. 10 day pass for a calm beach day. The house is super clean and well appointed. Great communication about checking in.Several things about the property that were unexpected. The water heater was set very low and would only provide warm water, Tymika was very responsive and told me how to adjust it to the proper temperature. The pots and pan are old and could use updating. Cushions on the porch had growth, algae/moss, on them. One of the chairs in the living room had been chewed by a large dog or something. Overall the cottage is very nice and we would stay there again, the items above are mentioned to improve the cottage for a better stay.Thank you Tymika for the fast response to the water heater issue. And there is a fire house nearby, but they don't turn on their sirens. The big bonus: Right opposite is a nature preserve, Weetamoo Woods.
