Friendly staff, great breakfast and conveniently located with parking out back, including EV charging spots. We forgot a bag in the room but the staff were happy to help when we arranged collection from reception.
Excellent stay overall, dining in the bistro on the night we arrived, the menu was well priced with good quality options available. Our room was clean and tidy and stocked with the usual convenience items. Would definitely recommend the Hotel.
Staff are very welcoming and the room was lovely, a bit out dated reference shower tap could use a change and shower head was loose but small things didnt take away from a lovely stay
A really friendly hotel. Excellent breakfast & Sunday lunch. Service outstanding we will definitely stay again

Although this is a convenient hotel for Gateshead and especially the Metro Centre, it is very dated. There is no customer lift and quite steep stairs to climb with a suitcase if you are on the second floor which we were. The staff are nice and helped me get my suitcase down when we were checking out through the service lift. However, this is quite a dated hotel with basic amenities and not a place you would go stay at for a treat.
Lovely clean,comfortable room and bed. Good food in lovely bar restaurant. Friendly staff including Malcolm, the owner. Will be back soon and highly recommend this hotel. Plenty of pubs,restaurants shops in walking distance. Ample free parking a bonus too.
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfy. A good location, lots of places to eat nearby. It’s not far from the metro centre and Newcastle city centre.
Lovely gem just 10 minutes by taxi into Newcastle. All the staff were friendly and helpful from the receptionist to the dining room staff, especially Ann and John who made breakfast a unique experience. We will definitely consider staying there again in the future.
We stay here regularly when attending family get togethers. The staff are always super friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Rest assured, we will.be staying again.
