The chair was broken. The continental breakfast was not served on time and was meagre and very poor. SOOOOO noisy from 3am onwards with nobody trying to keep the noise down and that includes the night porter!! No tea or coffee in rooms, only 1 plug socket for tv which was probably 20 years old and everything else so out-dated !! The beds were super comfy and the room was very clean the only minor problem we had was that we turned the radiator right down as it was extremely hot in the room but this didn't work. Other than that it was perfect. The welcome (from Gina) could not have been better. The room was amazing with a four poster bed, en suite bathroom, quiet with a view over countryside. Chef & bar staff very friendly and ready to be flexible on timing. Food & drink very reasonably priced. Could not understand why this is only a two start hotel. Bed was v small, room was booked for two people but only I was staying - for me it was fine but would have been impossible for 2 people. Generally though, was miles cheaper than anything city centre, perfectly functional, close to centre. Le restaurant de l'hôtel propose un burger super, vous avec le choix pain steak haché et cheese ou pain steak haché et bacon... DONC aller manger ailleurs Les photos sur le site sont tristement datés ou d'un autre hôtel, car le bar n'a que 2 canapés et quelques tables rien à voir avec la photo du site ... DONC aller boire un verre ailleurs...
