We came for the Sturgis motorcycle rally and this was a great place to stay and getaway from all the chaos! It's remote and peaceful. It has a game room, wrap around deck, and lovely decor. The best thing though is it is sited on a hill facing west and there are beautiful sunsets. At night, the remote location provides ample opportunity for star gazing. If you like nature, check it out. Also, Alaina, the property manager, was prompt, professional, and helpful in every interaction. I'd give this place 15 stars if I could. ##### Michael H. Lovely surroundings and truly quiet (could occasionally hear passing cars on the highway, but the cabin is a decent distance away and the amount of traffic is fairly light). Lots of walkable, even hikeable, areas on the property. Cozy furnishings, though dining room table is tiny, even for one person. Internet is decent - I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to work there (LAN connection) and stream, but not sure how that would go with more than one person. Cleaning could be improved upon: refrigerator a bit dirty and sinks/toilets needed some additional attention, but it was mostly clean throughout. Also, bit lacking on utensils - where are the steak knives and cookie sheets and scissors? Also no body soap provided. Good bed (I only tried the one, but the others looked of equally good quality). Host friendly, responsive, and super flexible, which is a real bonus and a rarity on these rental sites. ##### Eric B.
