Could not shut off alarm without destroying detector. Called the emergency number and no one answered so left message. someone eventually returned the call. Never heard from anyone else about the issue until I reached out again the next day. The second bedroom had no mini split so had to sleep with door open in order to get the benefit of the mini split in the main living area.
