The Cottage is located in beautiful Chehalem Valley. It is nestled near a wooded area in the middle of Oregon's wine country. Calkins Lane Loop has seven wineries. The cottage hosts a full kitchen. There is a bedroom on the first floor with a queen-sized bed. The first floor also has a bathroom with a shower and tub. The open living space has a spacious dining table, chairs, and a large comfy couch. A second bedroom with a queen size bed and four twin beds is located on the second floor. The front porch is covered and provides shade in the summer and spectacular sunset views. The large backyard has a pavilion for shade as well. The cottage is located minutes from downtown Newberg and George Fox University. The coffee setup each morning was adorable and perfect prior to setting off for the days adventure. The heated floor on the cool mornings welcoming. The large sectional with big windows for viewing all the hummingbirds darting with the large magnolia tree was delightful. The location was perfect for the wine country exploring each day, could scoot back for a nap prior to the various dinners. The host was easy to communicate with as needed. ##### Cheryll L. Our a cappella singing group enjoyed a relaxing & inspiring retreat where we practiced songs & learned new material. We were overwhelmed by this lovely, clean, & well-cared-for home! The property is located in a sweet spot in Oregon wine country with wineries within easy walking distance. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed & more!
