Hope Haven Retreat, self-catering home from home - Come and be refreshed!

Hope Haven is a Christian retreat with a God given vision to provide stillness and space for peace, refreshment and restoration. A welcome escape for those with busy lives and hectic schedules or just an opportunity to spend time in the midst of the countryside in the Presence of God. The retreat nestles in 3 acres of grounds, over looking uninterrupted views of woodland, fields and wildlife. Whatever the season, whatever the weather, this beautiful area offers peace and quiet and an opportunity to relax, be still and recharge the batteries!

Hope Haven is perfect for private, personal retreat, and is also ideal for away days, courses, meetings or just somewhere to spend time with friends.

Babies are welcome up to walking age and 15 years upwards. Unfortunately we cannot accept dogs at the retreat.

A real Haven

Amazingly peaceful setting with Mother Nature all around. Ideal for reflection and relaxation. Well equipped property with great shower, comfortable beds and good kitchen facilities. Excellent location for exploring Lincolnshire, the city and other points of interest. Helpful hosts and adequate information for the client staying in the property. We shall be back again.

It feels like Heaven

It was so beautiful and perfect. Every detail was so thought out and looked so good. We enjoyed every single moment there and we didn’t feel the need to go sightseeing as it was so cozy and relaxing. A True Haven

I stayed at Hope Haven for a couple of weeks while working and it was the perfect retreat after work with peace quiet and nature around. The vision that the owners Clare and Peter have for the place is amazing and to see it manifesting is inspiring. They are two of the kindest and friendliest people I’ve met and were helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Peaceful stay in the countryside

Very warm welcome from hosts Claire and Peter. Accommodation cosy and clean with lovely slice of cake on arrival! Everything you could need was provided, including a fan which was very welcome in the warm weather. Peaceful surroundings made for a very relaxing break. Would be happy to recommend and visit again.

Ein sehr schönes und komfortabel eingerichteter Bungalow in wunderbar ruhiger Umgebung. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, Bett äußerst komfortabel, bequeme Draußen- Sitzplätze. Die Landschaft ist eben und nicht so spektakulär, aber die Unterkunft trotzdem wegen der ruhigen und ländlichen Umgebung ein sehr anheimelnder, friedlicher Ort.

Hope Haven is a beautiful location, everything is beautifully presented and Clare is just lovely. The accommodation is superb, nothing was overlooked, everything you could possibly need is there. Immaculate, all one could ask for

So clean, every little detail thought of in every area of the property. Location ideal for sight-seeing or like us needing peace and recuperation. Beds very comfortable and sitting in lounge area. Outside eating, relaxation area and even a BBQ available. Wonderful place ,over 5*

Delightful and therapeutic.

I fell in love with the place and it’s beautiful surroundings as soon as I arrived, so did my friend. I couldn’t fault the place, it was so cosy and clean and it had a lovely feel to it. It has a real sense of serenity about it. The Hosts were amazing too, really nice people and they made sure everything was perfect, they were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. I will be back again and I will definitely recommend it to others too. It would be great to stay sometime in the winter too. The village overall is also beautiful and worth exploring.

Lovely location in a tranquil setting.

Without doubt one of the best places we have ever stayed if not the best. Met by the lovely hosts on arrival and showed around the spotlessly clean bungalow which has everything you need for your stay. Local village a few minutes drive away with shops and pubs but it is so peaceful it was difficult to tear yourself away.

Our stay at Hope Haven was simply wonderful. The accomodation was of the highest quality, so many personal touches and with everything you might need thought of and provided!
