It was on a business commercial street, so it was a little noisy...but the rooms were comfortable and it was great to have so much space. A very unique property. ##### Lisa R. However, the unit could have been cleaner and better maintained given the nightly rate — it didn’t quite feel like a 4- or 5-star experience. The door handle for the baby’s room came off, making it difficult to open, and there was a leak in the master bathroom that dripped down into the kitchen. The toilet in upstairs hall didn’t have a proper flush level and it required us to use our fingers to push the buttons inside (see pic). The tile downstairs near living room is broken under carpet and you cannot see it but certainly it’s dangerous because my guests fell over it and then we put a furniture over it to be safe. We also found it concerning that the property address didn’t match the listing, and there was no address visible on the front door, which felt odd and a bit unsettling.On the positive side, communication with the host was excellent and responsive, which we really appreciated. Again, the size was amazing for NY and location was ideal. We did have a few hiccups but these were resolved by the property manager. We had a nice time in NYC while there for our daughter's graduation. We love the neighborhood, restaurants, pubs, grocery stores were super easy to walk to along with close proximity to transit. The house was super roomy and allowed everyone to have their own space.
