They also run a shuttle to the subway station during the evening hours which is a big plus. The staff was very attentive especially when the incident happened that the fire alarms was set up and we received all the information and updates we needed. To make sure that we were all calm. I have always stayed in Manhattan, but the room prices are just ridiculous. I decided to give this hotel a shot and could not be happier. Chelsea and all of the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The surrounding area is more industrial and adjacent to a large housing project, but I never felt uncomfortable with the area. There were not many dining options as far as I could tell. I just took the F subway and was in Manhattan for whatever dining or entertainment I was looking for. Having the subway stop 5 minutes away was great, easy access to Manhattan and LGA. Our room door was busted and needed to be forced to shut and open. When checking in, I asked if there was some sort of free upgrade available, which a simple no would have been fine and I would have understood. It was something that I figured would cause no harm in a simple ask. However, what was not acceptable was the response I got from the coworker to the kind lady who was checking me in. "At the price you paid, absolutely not." said in the most snarky attitude in voice. And I wish my problems ended there, but that pretty much set the tone for the entire night. When me and my guess went up to our room for check in, we hand a extremely hard time trying to open and close the door. It was scraping the door frame so badly, that it made an incredibly loud sound, and did this everytime that it opened. Upon going into the room, it seemed clean enough as we took our first looks around and settled in. I decided to call down to the front and ask for extra toiletries and for extra pillows. After receiving stuff, was told that there was only one clean pillow left in the hotel, and so they would only provide one. As I looked closer at the toiletries, I noticed a few things, one of which was several of them had already been used and where inconsistent with the amounts in them. Then when I went to go open a lotion bottle, the whole inside was covered in tiny, stubbly, what I assumed to be hairs. L'hotel est récent, les chambres en très bon état. une navette gratuite permet d'éviter en soirée les 10 mn de marche à pied depuis la station de métro. le petit déjeuner est correct. Der Shuttlebus zur Subway ist eine praktische und sinnvolle Idee, dass Angebot könnte jedoch auf alle Tage der Woche ausgedehnt werden. Auch hatten wir das Problem, dass beim Check in nach einer bestimmten Kreditkarte gefragt wurde, diese war aber nicht unsere sondern die vom Reiseanbieter, so mussten wir das Hotel vorerst nochmal bezahlen. Dies konnte aber im Nachhinein mit Expedia problemlos geklärt werden. Die bereits hinterlegte Kreditkarte gehörte zum Reiseanbieter. Daher bitte nicht verwirren lassen, bei der Frage. Die Hotels wissen wohl in der Regel, dass die hinterlegte Kreditkarte vom Reiseanbieter ist. Einzig allein der Frühstücksraum im Keller ist für die mögliche Anzahl der Gäste deutlich zu klein, es kam aber zum Glück für uns nie dazu, dass wir keinen Platz mehr bekommen haben, weil aus den vorherigen Bewertungen ähnliches bereits beschrieben wurde. Die WLAN Abdeckungen im 10 Stock war auch ausreichend, so dass es zu keinen Störungen kam. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Manhattenseite, so das ein kleiner Ausblick auf die Queensboro Bridge möglich war. Dieser war wirklich schön, da es dahinter auch das Empire State Building, das Chrysler Building und Summit Building zu sehen gab. Leider war der komplette Ausblick aber ein Umspannwerk.
