We came in at 6 in the morning and got into the elevator and there was a bunch of hair and a smashed cookie. I told the front clerk about it and he didn’t seem to be in any hurry to get it cleaned. I had to add one day to my already 3 day reservation and they did not match my original price. They made me pay for the day then come back to the counter at 11:00 and check out and check into my other reservation. They also did two transactions for my incidentals hold to add up to the 125$. Kobe was for 9$ and change and the second equaled to the 125$. I have stayed at several Holiday Inn express and this is by far the biggest let down of them all. I do have photos if interested.

Honestly very clean, considering we’re in the bronx, I’m an nyc resident so whoever is reading this gets it. But I was 100% satisfied I had the premium room and the breakfast was mid but there was plenty to choose from .

Staff was friendly and hotel was very clean, we felt safe. They did have complimentary breakfast, your basics (pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage, pastries). There is a bus stop almost right in front of the hotel which is great for public transportation. There is also a hospital across the street. I would stay here again for sure!

The room was clean but tiny. The area it was in seemed sketchy to us but it was our first time in New York. Warning to people coming from airport. Be very aware of who you get a ride with. Do not take the airport taxi, if thats what they are really called. Take a real taxi and count your money out to driver. We got scammed..cost us $217 to the hotel then he told me I didnt give him enough. So i had to give him $50 more.
