"I recently stayed at the 7 Days Hotel in Bronx , New York from December 4th to December 6th , and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Even though we found the price to be way too high for the area and the place. It was pretty unkempt, a bit dirty, the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, the toilet was positioned partially under the sink counter and the button to flush it was on top of the toilet, so we had to reach under the counter, feel around for the button in order to flush the toilet. The toilet paper holder was on the opposite far wall where it couldn’t be reached if you were sitting on the toilet so we always had to have the toilet paper sitting on the counter in order to have it handy. It was insane!! The bathtub had no bath mat or anything to prevent slipping and it was very slippery. And guess what, I slipped in the tub and went down head first, hit my head, elbow and knee. My son and daughter had to run and pick me up off the tub floor. The next day my son ran out and bought a cheap rubber mat for the tub, smh! The place was noisy as well. There were always guests screaming and fighting in the hallways, or kids running around. The front desk sat behind a bulletproof glass and there was a nighttime security guard that sat in the lobby all night. Pretty scary stuff. We hardly ever came out of the room. I mean, nothing unsafe ever happened but we were always on guard. So, I’m sorry to say, book your stay somewhere else. I stayed at 7 Days Hotel for around eight days, and unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. The moment I entered the room, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which never went away. On top of that, the hotel was constantly noisy — people shouting late at night, no sense of privacy, and to make matters worse, there were dogs barking endlessly on my floor, apparently left alone in someone’s room. Despite reporting this, the receptionist wasn’t able to do anything about it. Throughout my entire stay, housekeeping never showed up even once. No cleaning, no fresh towels, nothing. For the price I paid, I expected at least basic service and a comfortable environment, but this hotel failed on both fronts. Overall, it was very disappointing, overpriced, and definitely not worth the money.
