The good stuff: beautiful home with great location. We loved being next to the marina and restaurant (bar). The young adults like running over and getting a drink and bringing it back to enjoy on the back porch. Felt safe with the gated community, restaurants all close, great walking sidewalk and we walked all the way to the beach. The bar was quiet by 10pm. We could hear live music and loved that too. The not-so-good stuff. When we arrived we found dirty food covered silverware that had been placed in the drawers, molded food in the pantry, dirty toaster oven and dirty rugs, refrigerator has a line of mold in it. Outdoor furniture had not been cleaned. Interior pillows have stains on them. The place needs someone to really deep clean it, replace the rugs and pillows. We alerted the property manager but we arrived after hours and spent at least an hour cleaning the kitchen due to one person having food allergies. It was gross even if you donā€™t have that to deal with. The next morning they offered to have a cleaning crew come in, but it was too late since we did the work. Property Manager was very kind and not defensive. She probably saved yall from a negative review. We did receive a (small) partial refund which was appreciated. Even with the live music playing at the restaurant, we could hardly hear it inside. At the same time, it was great being able to hang out on the comfortable back porches (upper and lower), and enjoy the entertainment of the bar and restaurant. We left our boat in a slip during our stay, and enjoyed the convenience of just walking out the back door and hopping in the boat for a spontaneous cruise. As stated in a couple other reviews about this house the refrigerator situation is a little strange but we made it work. The check in place was about 10 minutes away and the refrigerator/freezer drawers were weird and slightly inconvenient, but other than that we had a wonderful stay! This property it right next to the tiki bar and steps away from the pool which makes it the perfect weekend getaway with friends. We also brought our boat and there was room in the marina that we paid to have it docked their over the weekend too which was great. Will definitely be rebooking for next year! ##### Carl S. TV didnā€™t work, hot tub and pool were dirty and pool light was laying beside pool with power cord in water. Pickup and drop off of keys a little bit of a hassle. ##### Tim L. Sep 16, 2020 Liked: Check-in, location Disliked: Communication #### Disappointing I was pleasantly surprised at the property when we first arrived. Beautiful condo and more parking than I initially thought there would be. The property was overall clean but it appeared no one had been there for a while. Toilet had small worms, most likely from not being flushed in a long time. The kitchen faucet was loose when we arrived and wouldnā€™t stand up in place by the end of the trip. There was trash on the balconies from previous occupants. We chose this property for the pool but it was unusable. The pool temp was the same as the hot tub, murky water and no water flow. It appeared the pump was not functioning. On our last night, the AC broke. When we contacted the property manager, we were told they only had one person on call for the holiday weekend, which seemed odd to have so little staff on a busy vacation weekend. The on call contact couldnā€™t make any decisions and had to contact someone else for approval. The AC repairman didnā€™t leave until 8pm that evening. Due to the AC failure, it caused a leak in the master bathroom ceiling and one of our guests slipped on the water and injured her leg. When we asked for a later checkout due to the inconvenience, we were told she would have to contact someone else for approval and would get back to us with an answer. No one ever returned our call. I sent a follow up email to the property manager explaining the issues and never received a response. The property would be great but needs to be managed better. ##### Nichole R.
