The property is located on a quiet, private road. Only forty miles to Lake Placid and other great attractions in the area. Bring your canoe, kayak, and fishing pole. Hear the loons at night on the pond. Fire pit and picnic table right next to the pond for easy access. The pond also has Big Mouth Bass and Sun Fish. This location provides absolute privacy, solitude and serenity. Please note, we now have hard wired internet available. Verizon is the local carrier with 5 bars of service. Easy access to a small beach where the kids could play in the sand. We went hiking about 20-30 minutes from the cabin. Well situated. Loved the decoration! The upstairs open loft was great for our older teen, and 22 year old, (could have had another person there as well) to have there own space. Kitchen well outfitted, loved the dinning room, and the side porch. We took the kayaks out, and the lake is a great size to explore. Don't miss the nearby fire tower great view with little effort. It is clear how much they care for their home. We were able to swim, float, kayak, fish, watch storms roll in and completely relax! It is a steep walk back and forth to the water, but not a huge deal. We drove our car down for the time we spent a few hours on the water which made it really easy.
