It is a short stroll to Pukekura Park, Womad, Racecourse, Bowl of Brooklands, TSB Stadium, and many cafes, restaurants, shops, and supermarkets. The perfect place to base yourself while you explore New Plymouth's major attractions, the owners have created a great holiday space for you to enjoy with your family. Tucked nicely away at the rear of the property is this lovely quiet, light, bright, sunny holiday property. From mid-December until early February, Pukekura Park is transformed for the Festival of Lights, where you can enjoy lighting displays set among the beautiful botanic gardens. You can take a picnic down to The Hatchery lawn and listen to free live music most nights during this festival. A must to visit. This may not be the biggest property you’ll ever stay in but it proves the adage that good things come in small packages. There are two bedrooms up narrow stairs so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. For everyone else, the rooms are a comfortable size with a decently roomy bathroom. The same can be said of the bedroom and ensuite downstairs, with the combined kitchen/dining and living room more than adequate for the three of us (adult women). The house is minutes from the town centre, restaurants and the Coastal Walk and was an absolutely delightful choice for our stay in the equally delightful New Plymouth. ##### Daniela S.
