We loved learning about the history of the quiet neighborhood from the owner himself. We even got to experience part of a jazz funeral at a nearby church! Coffee shops, restaurants, museums as well as the French Quarter are within walking distance. The WiFi was great for working remotely. Check-in and check-out were easy, too. The house \*is\* historic, so the floors are creaky and you can hear your neighbors (it's a duplex) if someone's renting the other unit, so maybe not ideal for super light sleepers, but we didn't mind.
