Fun fact: the first explorers of New Orleans discovered Bayou St. John and this linked them to Lake Pontchartrain. A much quicker and safer route to the New Orleans settlement. This home, The St. John, also adds convenience for the New Orleans explorer (YOU!). Take a journey through history while visiting and then still rely on The St. John at the end of the day!

Each spot is equipped with a starter kit, so you have the basics you need to kick start your vacation as soon as you get here. Kitchenware. Coffee. Toiletries. The essentials. We also leave you a little lagniappe snack/drinks while while you get settled in.

The St. John has a location that can't be beat! Get your steps in and check out the coolest local bars and restaurants that NOLA has to offer all within a casual stroll of this home. Did we mention the French Quarter was just a 10 minute walk? If you want even more excitement, grab an Uber to Magazine Street, Marigny, or Bywater.
Four blocks from the St. Charles Streetcar Line.. this is a great option to see the gorgeous mansions and Live Oak tree draping of St. Charles Avenue.
Countless coffee shops and convenience stores located in a two block radius of this home.
Rouses Market is nearby too.

EVERY HOME, EVERY TIME
In a NOLA LUX home, you'll always find our bathrooms stocked with a starter set of everything you need to get squeaky clean including (but not only) shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Our kitchens have all the essentials needed to prepare your favorite meal. Kick start each morning with Keurig coffee pods included with every stay. We've even got your TV entertainment covered with hundreds of streaming options to choose from.
NOLA LUX homes are immaculate and well maintained by professionals who clean and sanitize between every guest using the highest standards in the industry.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The following details are important but aren't specific to this particular unit and apply to all reservations made at a NOLA LUX property.

WE RECOMMEND TRIP INSURANCE
Planning a vacation can be stressful enough when everything goes right but adding a pandemic to the mix adds a whole lot of uncertainty. Trip insurance keeps you from losing your vacation rental investment if you need to cancel for a covered reason. We're here to help if you have any questions!

HOUSE RULES
These are all no brainers, but we don't want any confusion so we're going to state the obvious:
- NO SMOKING
- No gatherings greater than the approved occupants
- No rearranging furniture please
- Quiet hours between 10PM - 8AM strictly enforced

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS
The primary renter must be at least 21 years old. There are exceptions made on a case-by-case basis and with a paid security deposit and our express written permission. Contact us for details.

**We do not accept bookings from guests within a 50 mile radius.**

SECURITY CAMERAS
Security cameras are in all common spaces of the building, but no worries, no cameras inside any of the homes. We do also have internal sensors that detect temperature, humidity, THC, vapor, and decibel levels.

GUEST REGISTRATION
After you book your reservation, we will require the completion of our electronic Rental Agreement and a copy of a government-issued ID (excluding Airbnb bookings).Once completed, your check-in instructions will be emailed to you thirty days before your arrival date.

OPTIONAL FEES
The following fees are paid in addition to and after the reservation is paid for:
- $75 Early Check-In anytime after 11AM (must be arranged within three days of arrival)
- $75 Late Check-Out anytime before 2PM (must be arranged within three days of arrival)
- $25 per night single rollaway bed rental (includes all necessary bedding)
- $25 per night crib rental (includes all necessary bedding)

SUPPLY STARTER KIT
No one wants to have to worry about getting to the store after traveling all day! That's why we provide a supply starter kit – to get you through the first day or two of your stay.
The kit includes: three rolls of paper towels, dish sponge, five dishwasher pods, four trash bags, dishwashing liquid, ~12 coffee pods per bedroom count, creamer, sweetener, salt/pepper, olive oil, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath soap bar, lotion, mouthwash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and three rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom.

PARKING
While we do not have any long-term parking on-site, there are countless parking options that we would be happy to provide more information on. Thankfully our location is optimal for walking (or short Uber/Lyft ride) experiences for guests of all ages.

Stayed here with my sisters and we loved the place. First time in New Orleans and this location did not disappoint. Nice place to come back and relax after being in the bustle of the city. Clean rooms and very spacious. The snacks and drinks were a nice touch!

Short and sweet 5 day trip!
I would give this property and the property managers more stars if I could. This place was perfection. The first place we stayed was beautifully modern and so clean. The location is ideal and within walking distance to so many great restaurants and attractions. Cami and Ericka were available and so responsive any time I had a question. We were supposed to check out Wednesday but decided after a day here that we wanted to extend our trip. They accommodated and kept us in the same location just switched rooms and the second room was so beautiful and spacious as was the first. We will definitely stay in the same location with the same property next time we visit.

Amazing time!
Used to live in this area and was so excited to stay here. Very close to French Quarter and Superdome without being in the chaos of things. The apartment was so clean and had everything we needed for a weekend trip. Really enjoyed it!

I could go on and on… the location was amazing. Both balconies made this place super special. The people watching & being on the second floor interacting with the crowd on Saturday night was fun but it’s the CBD not the Quarter, so it’s a nice relaxed vibe. You can’t go wrong here. Close but just far enough away. Funny & classy! Also the management company was amazing to work with. We very much appreciate them making our stay perfect.

NOLA memory lane
If anyone would ever like to know, this place is decorated amazingly! Everything is perfectly styled, and in its proper place. The furnishings themselves are very nice. Whoever they have decorate for them does a fabulous job. We had a wonderful time, taking a stroll down memory lane of New Orleans. When I read the review before staying, I was originally thinking there were two full bathrooms. It was my misunderstanding because the review says a bath and a half. There is a full bath on the second floor with two very nice, large bedrooms. One bedroom even has a private balcony. Downstairs is a huge open concept living room kitchen dining room with a balcony. The half bath is also downstairs. The place is absolutely phenomenal. The people there were very nice. We ran into some friends of theirs who were staying in the penthouse. If the owners and/or management is anything as nice as their friends, then you cannot do better than this for a place to stay. I will definitely stay with New Orleans luxury rentals when I come back. Hopefully, I can be lucky and stay in the penthouse.

Just as expected!
We travel a ton. This is just about the easiest in and out process we’ve encountered. Just as the pictures show. Very clean. Great spot. Loved it! Only one issue to consider - if you have anyone in your party with health or mobility issues, the spiral stairs to get to the upper level are a bit tricky. No problem for us and it makes the space more interesting. Will definitely be back! Heath
