My daughter and I had a very pleasant stay and look forward to returning. The location was safe and secure. We drove down from the northeast & had ample parking in front of our rental. The only issue was that to flush the toilet we had to manually jiggle the flush valve each time. When I mentioned this to the host, I was surprised that he was aware of this issue and just didn't think it had been relevant to tell us in advance. However, the major issue was the neighbourhood. The walk to the French district was quite uncomfortable as we had to pass through homeless encampments under the expressway and there were even several homeless people sleeping within a block of the apartment. While this obviously isn't the host's fault, I believe many people would not be comfortable walking to and from the apartment, particularly at night. ##### Priyanka G. The street was busy in the daytime because of the BBQ restaurant across the street but it was always somewhere to park and its quiet at night. Traveling to shops and eateries was a breeze as well.
