This cozy Treme gem, located steps from the historic French Quarter, is the perfect home base for a weekend of NOLA exploring. Featuring a spacious open-concept kitchen/dining room with granite countertops and a comfortable living room, along with original hardwood floors and exposed brick, this Creole Cottage has everything. Relax with beer and crawfish on our back patio before hitting the Bourbon Street just a 10 minute walk away. 30 Day Minimum. Kitchen stocked to prepare any meals, Keurig with coffee provided. Lovely living room and kitchen with breakfast bar + dining room. All bathrooms come with essentials such as 3-in-1 shampoo/conditioner/bodywash and fluffy towels! You will be given access to the home during the checkin process. We have digital locks and alarm systems for your convenience. Street parking is free. Owner lives on premises but uses separate entrance and will not access guest spaces during your visit. NOLA streetcars are a great way to get around and tour New Orleans. For more information and to buy riding passes ask your host! All reservations require a $500 refundable deposit. Treat our neighborhood and home like your own! It comfortably slept 8 of us, each in our own queen size bed (with one bed to spare even). The memory foam mattresses were luxuriously comfortable. The upstairs bedrooms each had a bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed, even coffee (k-cups) in the morning. You could easily walk to the French quarter (the quickest route being through Armstrong Park). The park does close at 7pm, though, so you’ll have to go the longer way around after that. As with any city, I’d suggest not walking at night alone. We always had at least two of us after 10pm. I’d definitely recommend this place for large groups and I’d 100% stay again. ##### Karyn K. Séjour de 3 nuits en mars 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Breanna D. 12 mars 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### Walking Distance to Most Places We booked this reservation with the idea to have enough beds for each of our friends so that no one had to share beds since we are in our 30s. Beds were comfy & clean. There was plenty of space and having 4 bathrooms was great for helping our group get ready in a timely manner. We wanted a historic looking place that felt like New Orleans and this definitely fit the vibe. It was a beautiful home and felt taken care of. We had plenty of toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, laundry soap and paper towels that lasted our trip that was supplied by the host. Everything was pretty much in walking distance for us which was convenient and we only rode the trolly and caught Ubers to the garden district. Everything else we pretty much walked to. The host was great at communicating with our group and helping with the check in process. Overall we had a very positive experience. The only thing I would change about the home would be having more dresser storage in the bedrooms and maybe a small table or something in the upstairs bathrooms that would provide counter space for our hair & makeup products near the bathroom sinks. The closets were spacious and came with hangers so that was convenient but there wasn’t much in the bedrooms to sit your charging phone on for the night or a place to sit anything other than using the floor or our suitcases. I would recommend this place to a friend! ##### Breanna D. Séjour de 5 nuits en mars 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Tori A. 5 mars 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### Lots of Space and Great Location - HVAC Concerns This house is really spacious and is in a great location very walkable to the Quarter. There are plenty of beds for a big group and a nice outdoor space in the backyard.During our stay, there was unusually cold weather for New Orleans, and we experienced an HVAC issue where the upstairs rooms were REALLY hot and the downstairs was REALLY cold - the first night our group wore jackets and beanies to sleep. Historic's customer service was really responsive and came early in the morning to check on the HVAC and send the repair team. It seems there is an issue with how the HVAC was set up and their HVAC team said they are working on a long term fix. I still rated the house at a 4 because of the level of responsiveness of the team - but I would recommend considering the projected weather. In a more temperate time of year, it probably would have been fine, but we highly considered leaving after that first night. We are thankful that the team acted with urgency and the temperature was fixed for the rest of the trip.Another small recommendation I would have is to add night stands in the bedrooms because there are no tables/dressers/night stands and not a lot of counter space in the bathrooms. If we could use half star ratings, I would probably rate this house a 3.5 due to our experience, but I did give the benefit of the doubt and round up because I think we had a fairly unique experience with the weather. ##### Tori A.
