The property is located on a busy street but it was usually quiet on weekends with more traffic on the weekdays which is expected. I will have to admit, not knowing the area, I was a bit concerned when we first drove up. I met the man next door and he was very nice. The interior was very nice, and quite spacious. Loved having plenty of seating in living room and dining table fire everyone. I brought k cups But didn’t need because there’s a coffee maker with a pot. The only small negative was since it’s an older home, the bedrooms were a comfortable temp, but the living area was a bit chilly (outside was high in low to mid 50s and rainy.). That’s just how older homes can be. The beds were all very comfortable and the location is very convenient to French quarter. All in all, a great trip ##### Kim S. I read other reviews that stated they didn't like the neighborhood but we all found it very convenient.The place itself is very nice inside but the king bedroom with the red curtains had dirty sheets and the queen bedroom closest to the bathroom had an air duct over the bed that dripped water right on the person sleeping there. If you are a party of more than 4 or 5 your'e not going to have a place for all of you to sit comfortably as there is only a couch unless you plan to only sit around the dining room table. I wouldn't stay here again but I would definitely stay with the property owners if they had other locations. I found them to be extremely professional. The house is a historic shot gun style home positioned in mid-city, very convenient location. The home is spacious and has been modernized throughout. Everyone had their own bed to sleep in and there were 3 bathrooms, which everyone easily shared. Almost every bedroom had its own smart TV, which was nice. The house offers two parking spaces in the back, if you rent a car or have friends visit. The neighborhood is older, and the locals are friendly. Don’t be surprised if someone is sitting on the stairs out front visiting, that’s pretty normal in NOLA. There is a barrier/gate between the street/sidewalk and the porch. House has video surveillance outside and is secure. There is a little shop across the street named "Coffee Science," which has a courtyard in the back. There is a gas station at the corner within walking distance. There is a street car stop two blocks away at Broad & Canal. $3 for an all-day pass. I recommend riding the green line over to the Garden District to view the mansions and the yellow/red line will take you back/forth downtown to the French Quarter. If you're looking for authentic Cajun food you'll want to try "Monday" off Bienville St, which is about an 8-min drive (best food we ate). Reserve a table via Open Table. Don’t miss brunch at the Ruby Slipper Café behind the gas station. Join the online waitlist. May 1, 2019 #### Great weekend in NOLA We had a fantastic weekend at this property. There were eight of us, and we fit comfortably into this large townhome with 3 full bathrooms. You'll have to take an Uber or the streetcar to get to the French Quarter, but the location is otherwise fine. Brunch at the Ruby Slipper was delicious. There is a Whole Foods just down the street to grab food and drinks for your stay. Isaac made the check-in, check-out process easy, and was a great host - providing very helpful instructions and NOLA tips. ##### Scott W. Toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags and towels were present along with 2 spice mixes obviously left by the last guests. A small amount of coffee or fruit might be a nice welcoming offer. One night a disturbed drunk screamed, yelled, and pounded outside. Police responded two hours later. The air conditioning was not uniform with the front of the house too warm, while the rear was chilly. All in all, not our favorite rental. ##### Tom H.
