The tiny apartment itself did not seem quite ready for prime time. It was clear that some work had been done, but it wasn’t quite up to par yet. It seemed to be done on a budget that was too low with skills that, likewise, were below par. A fresh coat of paint on beat up furnishings leaves them beat up, still. It was so nice knowing my dog couldnt bother the neighbors when she was feeling grumpy, and likewise no noise bothered me. Brunch is my favorite meal and this rental is a very short walk from some excellent brunch spots. I mostly travelled by Lyft, and everything I wanted to do in the French quarter was about a $10 trip away. It is located within walking distance of all things on Magazine Street, Mardi Gras parades, and the Streetcar stops. There is a bus stop just steps away. Alex is available to help with whatever you need. The property does show its age but was clean and had all we needed for a Mardi Gras weekend.
