This spacious New Marigny home is great from families and groups! Living is easy in this fully-restored historic home with modern amenities such as stainless steel appliances, high speed Wi-fi and relaxing private back yard patio! Enjoy relaxing in 3 King-size Beds and 1 Full-size Bed! Navigate the French Quarter, which is steps away or a quick ride! Walk to Bourbon Street and Frenchmen Street & the St. Claude Streetcar Line!  
  
This beautiful home was completely renovated just a few years ago; outfitted with modern comforts but maintaining its historic charm! The owners have created much of the art in the home as well, adding some local charm. Featuring 11-foot ceilings, antique interior doors, and even a bar in the kitchen made from the original lath of the home, this stunning retreat is the perfect place for your New Orleans adventure!  
  
Located in the New Marigny neighborhood (listed in the National Register of Historic Places), you'll be steps away from Bourbon & Frenchmen Streets, the French Quarter, and the St. Claude Streetcar Line!  
  
The home features a large, open living space with plenty of comfortable seating, a dining area, a fully-stocked kitchen, in-unit washer & dryer, and a private backyard/courtyard space for relaxation!

Please note that, like many areas of New Orleans, there are neighboring homes that have been completely renovated and some that are in poor condition and awaiting their salvation! The neighborhood is normally pretty quiet, but we are close to the action in the French Quarter, so there are the usual things associated with living near an urban core like pedestrians, traffic, and (during big events) increased activity. The neighborhood may look a little rough in spots, but we've never had any issues with safety here in the several years we've been hosting!  
  
Information Required by Local Laws: This home is not ADA-compliant. There are several steps to enter the home from ground level. There is a noise monitoring device in the home (required by law) that registers decibel levels but has no actual recording capability. There are exterior security cameras on the home for our safety and yours. These do not record any interior spaces of the home, just the exterior, and are active at all times. Permits: 22-CSTR-15452, 23-OSTR-10030  
  
You'll have access to the entire home and everything in it. There is one locked closet, which is where we store our cleaning supplies and other materials for hosting.  
  
We're available 24 hours a day via text or call for any needs that may arise during your stay!  
  
Located in the New Marigny neighborhood, you'll be steps away from the action in the French Quarter, including Frenchmen & Bourbon Streets! There are a multitude of incredible restaurants, shops, and nightlife in the immediate area, so get out and explore!  
  
Ubers and Lyfts are easy to get in this area, and you're steps away from a stop on the St. Claude Streetcar line!  
  
\*\*There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. \*\*\*  
1\. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their profile.  
  
2\. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).  
  
3\. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.  
  
4\. Clean towels are a provided amenity, there is a washer and dryer in the unit if you need a refresh!  
  
5\. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee.  
  
6\. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. As of May 2022, all rental platforms have specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from the platform.  
  
7\. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.  
  
8\. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup, it damages the towels. There are makeup towels provided for this use.  
  
9\. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.  
  
10\. Pets are NOT allowed at this listing. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 deep cleaning cleaning fee and immediate request to leave. Pet Boarding recommendations available upon request.  
  
11\. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo” it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.  
  
12\. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.  
  
13\. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.  
  
14\. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.  
  
15\. Message us for long term stays.  
  
16\. Trash & recycling is picked up on Thursday.  
  
17\. All of our TV's are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.  
  
18\. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it's possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested after your additional time has been approved.  
  
19\. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee.  This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.

The property was as described, very clean and modern. It had everything we needed. It's close to the #46 line, which is an easy and quick trip to Canal street. The only downside was the neighborhood is not great, even though we never felt unsafe there. We also spent most of our time in the kitchen since the couches in the living/sitting room were not comfortable to sit around in. For the price, and it's nearness to the French Quarter, I would stay here again.

#### Got to get away

We needed a break. Where better to get away than the Big Easy. We picked this house based on its proximity to Frenchmen St and the clubs and restaurants to be found there. It was perfect. We walked to many of the spots and those that were a tad too far were an easy Uber ride away. The house itself was spacious, bright and inviting with plenty of communal space, but also privacy if desired. Nicely appointed and spotlessly clean we couldn't have asked for a better place. Dan, the host, was responsive and helped us get through some booking issues (on our end) with grace and patience. When we go back we'll be sure to book this place again.

#### Pre Mardi Gras visit with family

Since there were 8 of us, we did fill up the place. The beds were comfortable, but the couches could be updated and more comfortable. Not really enough seating for 8 in any one place. Road noise was a problem at times but a pretty good location for exploring New Orleans. Management was very responsive.

This rental was absolutely beautiful and charming inside. It was one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and answered very promptly. It was a quick Uber ride to French quarters/bourbon street!

#### Annual Trip

Every March we come to the City of my heart. This year we wanted a homier place to stay. This property was in close proximity to Groceries, restaurants and local bars. It was great to be able to walk and enjoy the beautiful weather. It was a great value split by 4 people rather than us getting 3 hotel rooms. We were able to eat healthier due to having a kitchen. We enjoyed the charming shotgun look and the updated kitchen. It gave us just the experience that keeps us coming back to NOLA for more ! IYKYK

The house was awesome and so clean. It was just minutes with in walking distanct from the french quarters where we spent most of our time.

#### Super cute home!

Me and my friends did a spring break trip and had the best time! There was plenty of space for 8 people. The pipes had some issues while we were there but they fixed it within the day.

#### A taste of NOLA

The property was as advertised, and the staff was great about communicating. The neighborhood is colorful and a bit noisy at times, but the locals all seemed to enjoy the visitors. Would do this again in a heartbeat.
