Red Streetcars travel along Canal Blvd. from the Mississippi River out to City Park. The streetcars are cash only, unless you buy a pass. The Hop on Hop off tour buses circulate around some of the more popular areas of downtown and offer pickup every 30 minutes. The Algiers Ferry is a fun way to get across the river. It runs from Canal Street to Algiers throughout the day. Algiers is small and very walkable. Enjoy a quick bite to eat or just enjoy walking through the historic houses. A perfect location to everything. We decided to rent a vehicle due to some activities further away and the hosts provided fantastic recommendations regarding a lot next door. We easily walked to the aquarium, Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, WWII museum, and Canal street from the condo. 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths made it extremely comfortable for the 6 of us. Hosts communicated necessary information throughout the process. Also very responsive.
