« I have to say the last two reviews made us a bit nervous but those people must have been self-proclaimed critics because we had a truly exceptional experience. Everything was perfect - the hot tub, the river access point, the fire pit(s). A dream come true. We will absolutely be back. Nina’s friendliness and attention to detail made this truly a one of a kind experience. Can’t wait to bring our whole family back!! »

« As always the cabin was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Secluded and the only noise heard was the song birds. The hot tub was perfect and the fire pit was great when it was too rainy for the hot tub. See you again in the fall. »

« Enjoyed the stay. Very convenient with Massanutten and near JMU. Some nice sight seeing. The property is well maintained and very quick response time by the manager. They are strict on checkout times. I got a message 15 min before checkout warning me that the housekeeper was waiting on us and that I had 15 min. This was after a snafu at checkin where, even though we were an hour late for checkin, the property wasn’t quite ready. Not a big deal, especially since we booked the day before. Loved...

« We had a great time spending a long holiday weekend here. It was relaxing and peaceful and perfect for what we needed. However I would say the place needs some work and the owner should put some money back into it. The directv barely works and the internet is non existent but we made due without it. « This cabin reminded me of my grandpas cabin in the Big Horn Mountains. It's rustic and has that old cabin scent. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the back deck. I recommend bringing your own blankets if you get chilly in the evening. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals and the outdoor fire place is great for making smore's. »

« Absolutely loved this stay, what a beautiful place to relax and escape, by the river surrounded by trees, not too far to venture to some activities and the Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah River. « J’ai i fait une réservation sur Hotels.com et une fois arrivés à l’hôtel à 21:00 après 15 heures de route et très fatigués, l’hôtel nous a dit qu’il n’avait plus de chambre et qu’hôtels.com n’aurait pas dû accepter notre réservation ni afficher leur hôtel. Tres découragés nous avons pris une chambre fumeur qui sentait le €&$#@ !!! L’odeur était tellement désagréable mais il était trop tard et nous étions épuisés! »

« Very large room. Nice view. The walls are paper thin, so you can really hear everything in the other rooms. Also, the sound of the highway was really loud. I was glad I had my headphones. The restaurant on site is quite good and not to expensive. »
