La Villa Bella means 'The Beautiful Residence' in Italian. The location is absolutely perfect - nested outside New Braunfels and close to Canyon Lake on a private 4 acre estate. Our previous guests consistently comment on how beautiful and comfortable the home is. The main home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It is fully furnished with an ideal kitchen for the cooking enthusiasts and a laundry room for your extended stays. It also has an outdoor building named 'Casita Rocco'. It is about 30 feet away from the main home. 'Casita Rocco' has a bathroom with a shower, kitchenette, furnished with a sofa, tv, dining table, trundle bed for 2\. Perfect for separate children or teenage quarters. Enjoy cooling off in the private pool while taking in the hill county views. Start the massive outdoor fireplace while grilling a late night snack under the beautiful pergola to warm up those 'chilly' evenings. What a gathering place for family and friends to rekindle old memories while creating new ones. Propety was perfect, everyone had space to do what they wanted. Cooked a complete Thanksgiving Dinner for 6 in the kitchen and grrat big table for us all to sit at which was perfect. We enjoyed the fireplace outside each night. The Hot Tub was nice but the 15 min. Séjour de 4 nuits en novembre 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### chelsie s. 24 oct. 2025 Points forts : Propreté Our stay was pleasant the outdoors of the property are absolutely beautiful! In doors was well kept, nice and spacious and had comfortable beds. Decor was cute! Not too much. Only a few things, I would suggest is TV’s in the spare bedrooms, a new coffee pot, as during our stay the carafe was broken so we had to use a regular pot, and the timer to be changed on the hot tub. We had to keep going outside to turn the heating element back on to get it warm enough to enjoy and once we were in we would have to keep getting out every 15-20 minutes to do the same. Dean was a great host and was attentive, when we reached out once we arrived. Over all this place is great!! Cleanliness of the property inside seemed ok. There was something on the floor of the master bedroom shower that indicated it had not been cleaned after the last occupants left. Some of the towels had stains on them. There was also a bit of hair on one of the beds that may have been from a pet. The property outside also appeared to not have been attended to after the last occupants left. We found a used diaper, used glass, and baby clothes. There was also bits of trash around the pool and pavilion. Quite underwhelming considering the cost. ![A few of the towels had stains. The owner was available to us when we needed to text him. Our son absolutely loved the "house cat" Lupe. There were plenty of deer to see at dawn and dusk. There was only 1 issue which was not favorable for us. On our last day at the house, there was no electricity or hot water starting at 8 a.m. We were not told this was going to occur until later the night before. Not sure when the owner was made aware of this from the electric and water company. Other than that one issue, we had a very nice time and the property is beautiful. ##### Michelle G. Master bedroom impressive, large home with a small “casita” on other side of garage. Host Dino impressive! Answered questions rapidly. Great for a semi large group or family reunion. I rented out this house for my family and I to enjoy a nice week away from Houston and it was amazing. Everything from the house itself to house cat, Ms. Lupe, was fantastic. We booked for a whole week and we did not want to leave. The house was amazing and had everything we needed for cooking/baking, it was also so spacious that as a party of 8 we never felt on top of each other or like we were getting in each others way. The pool and hot tub was also another amazing addition, especially the hot tub. As mentioned earlier, the house cat, Lupe was always there to greet us in the morning and again at night (were assuming she was either napping or hunting during the afternoon). She was an absolute sweetheart and a huge cuddle bug. She did an amazing job guarding the house, we felt very safe with her near. The owners were very professional, responded to any questions we had quickly, and overall kind people. This was an amazing trip and we were glad to have such an amazing house to spend it in. Definitely would recommend this property to anyone, and would even rebook for future vacays away from the city. ##### Darius M. The house was great. Plenty of room to spread out. Pool and hot tub awesome. We even used the casita. Great secluded location which is what we were looking for in a rental. We were sent the wrong code for the lockbox and the owner contact voicemail was full. Unfortunately the check in process was lumpy. We killed several bugs and scorpions.
