Gruene's Yellow haus will deliver an enjoyable experience for your family and friends. Location, location, location! We provide a very spacious home with over 2,100 sq ft with 4 bedrooms in the main house and 2 baths. A large master suite and luxurious Master bath with separate shower and claw foot tub. Bedroom 2 has 2 double beds, bedroom 3 has a Queen bed and bedroom 4 has 2 twin beds. Enjoy the spacious backyard for get-togethers with your family and friends under the big shade trees with a barbeque and horseshoe pit for fun and games. The suite in the back has a queen bed and futon in the living room. Kitchenette and bathroom with shower. New Braunfels is but a few minutes away, as well as Canyon Lake. Float the Comal River or enjoy your day at Schlitterbahn, rated as the Worlds #1 water park. We hosted a family gathering for San Antonio and Austin families at this charming home. We loved the way the owners maintained the charm of the early-century home while updating it with a modern touch. The owners have made great use of the space, making it feel larger than it is. The master bathroom is ridiculously spacious and wonderful! The kitchen had everything we needed and more - although the refrigerator was definitely an issue. The instructions said not to fill it too full, but honestly, it never maintained an adequate temperature. We wish we had brought more coolers to store food. The yard is lovely w/ lots of places to hang out. The location is amazing - a quick walk into town - during December was beyond delightful! Gruene really needs to work on their sidewalks, but the traffic is slow in that area. We woke Saturday morning to the Jingle Bell 5K that ran along the main road in front of the house. Sitting on the front porch and encouraging the runners while sipping our morning coffee was such a joy. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to rent it again in the future. ##### Martinez S. The house is warm and comfortable from the first step in the door. The kitchen was fully equipped for preparing side dishes for our Thanksgiving dinner. Our dogs were very comfortable and safe in the large, fenced backyard. This property is in the perfect location for walking to town and enjoying all Gruene has to offer! ##### Rene' K. The location was great. We walked to Gruene everyday for dinner and New Braunfels is within a 10 minute drive or less. We enjoyed the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. We rented the yellow haus and Annabelle’s suite together. In the yellow haus there is a very small bedroom with 2 twins that was perfect for 2 kids. The yard is fully fenced and quite large. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio each night under the ceiling fan. Magically there weren’t even any mosquitoes out to bother us! We didn’t cook so I can’t speak to the kitchen but it is open and was very clean. They have a good amount of toiletries in every bathroom. The only complaint would be that the house was hot. We are having one of the worst summers ever but, for full disclosure, the house didn’t cool off until after 11 pm. Up until then it stayed around 80 degrees. They do have ceiling fans in every room, which made it doable. Overall, I would rent this place again. ##### Erica B. We had a party of 9 & two dogs with us - everyone was very comfortable & pleased with this rental. Great parking, nice neighborhood, and so many great food options just a short walk away. Both units were perfect! Upon entering the house, you are greeted with lots of natural lighting and the houses were both decorated very nicely. The Annabelle Suite was perfect for a family of 3 - the a/c worked amazing in that suite and it had it's own little outside space with a grill as well. The Yellow Haus had a fully stocked kitchen & laundry room, the furniture was so comfortable, and the bedrooms were beautiful. The master bathroom was stunning - the lighting around the claw foot tub was my favorite part of the house! The location was perfect - a few minutes from Schlitterbahn and just a short walk to shopping centers, coffee shops, and great food & entertainment. The backyard was large with lots of seating available and you could hear live music out back as well. Perfect area for anyone traveling with kids. This is definitely one of our favorite houses we have stayed in so far - we would absolutely stay here again! ##### Kathryn C.
