"The spa, gym, and lake views are excellent. The hotel has a very 90's feel and no room service (this was a bummer as we had a lake view room and wanted to stay in and relax). The beirgarten by the water has excellent food, although it closes at 930pm (as does the only restaurant on site (a buffet). The place was comfortable for 1 dayx the lake location and sauna were exactly what we wanted"

"Das Hotel ist eine klare Empfehlung. Ich hatte ursprünglich die Ruhestörung am 07.12\. gemeldet. In der Zwischenzeit hat sich das aber geklärt. Der Hotelbetreiber ist schon mit den örtlichen Behörden im Kontakt, um das zu lösen. Die Ursache liegt nicht am Hotel selbst, sondern wurde durch Dritte verursacht, die gegenüber wohnen. Ansonsten kann man in diesem Hotel nichts besser machen. Freundlichkeit wird GROßGESCHRIEBEN, Sauberkeit, Frühstück bestens. Auch die Zimmer haben eine ausreichende...

"We had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing. They accommodated out late check in and vegan made special a vegan breakfast fit for a queen. You won't be staying in the castle but in the building they have right beside. The area is quite peaceful. Very German ! "

"I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."
