The outside is rough and so is the neighborhood, however that was relatively clear from the photos before we arrived. The appliances were new. « My husband and I stayed in Richmond for a long weekend and lucked onto this beautiful condo in downtown. We are fans of old buildings and this one was old but still in great shape, very nicely kept up and included all the amenities we needed. « What an absolute fantastic weekend in Va. My son is a Marine stationed at Fort Greg-Adams. He was given his 96hr leave for the Holiday weekend. We found this gem of a home in rural Va. The home is spacious and very clean. There are amazing amenities. Washer/dryer, front deck, bar-b-que handicap accessible door. Just a great home for a weekend. If you are a history buff it is double the bonus. There are plenty of Civil war trails to explore. Everything about the house and stay is an A++++++++++....

« Very cool old house, in the middle of everything. Rob and Larkin were very responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was top notch. The house was clearly recently renovated and modernized. The beds are super comfy, and the kitchen was well equipped. There was plenty of room for our two-family party of nine. « I took two teams (UMASS & JMU) to the college super regional Pickleball tournament. The house was fantastic because it was affordable for college kids (though one needed to be 30 years of age to book it…I exceed that age), it had lots of beds and enough bathrooms and a kitchen. I recommend getting there in the daylight hours because it is a little off the beaten path and dark when you arrive but it was perfect fit for our needs - great hospitality! « We had 3 generations under one roof for the VCU graduation. This home was close to campus, stores and restaurants. We had other family join us at the house to hang out together. The kitchen was a perfect spot for us all, the 2nd floor porch was great for views of the city. We had a great time staying there while we were in Richmond. »
