About a 25-30 minute ride from the airport to Villa Magna. Check-in was a breeze. Maria was incredibly responsive to my questions and requests. Ubers were plentiful, and we traveled to the Malcon for shipping and restaurants, a 35-40 minute ride. Highly recommend! The second we walked in, we were greeted with fun and kidness. The bellboy was hilarious, letting our kids hop onto the trolley cart and riding it! The check in was fast and efficient. Our room was in perfect condition. Clean and nice and cool all week! The rooms are stocked with lots of drinks (water, beer, pop, plus other alcohol). The water in the shower is nice and warm. The food was yummy with something different to eat every night. The waiters and cooks are constantly moving and working and making everything seem effortless. Also the burgers and fries by the pool were delicious. The entertainment staff was by far the best I’ve seen. Always “on” and smiling, making people feel special. Christopher specifically went above and beyond. Same with Fryda (she knew everyone’s name-it was amazing. Anna was wonderful and kind. Abnar was a lot of fun too! I can’t believe how hard the staff works here. A special shout-out to Griss from the kids club who was SO GOOD with our little guy. He never wanted to leave the kids club!! The drinks were delicious and strong !! There is literally always something to do here, for both kids and adults. The foam party and neon party stood out to us in a big way, so much fun! The shows were a tad lacking but we enjoyed the contests prior to the shows!" The rooms were spotless and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, which made traveling with young children much easier. We appreciated the daily replenishment of water, coffee pods, and the small chocolates—those details really added to the feeling of care and quality. Housekeeping was excellent; the cleaning staff did a consistently thorough job, and the entire property was impeccably maintained. Because of the size of the resort, there is a lot of walking. We rented a wheelchair for my mother, and the hotel was extremely accommodating. Golf carts were readily available and specifically dispatched for disabled guests, which made getting around manageable and stress-free. One of the biggest advantages of this property is that there is so much to do on-site that you truly do not need to leave. The food across the resort was overall very good, and the service was impeccable. Staff were responsive, professional, and available at any time via the service contact system, which made us feel well supported throughout our stay. Our main disappointment was the theme park. The website made it appear as though it would be open, but it was not. The only options within the park area were the Nektar restaurant and the Cirque du Soleil show.
