At a distance 350m from the Koufonissi town and some minutes from the sea, at one of the most beautiful places of the island, with a breathtaking view to the Aegean sea and the village, our private 2-villa complex “St’Astra” comprises 2 independent luxurious but at the same time of traditional architecture villas “Dias” (Jupiter) and “Aris” (Mars), 310 m2 each one, with a common-use swimming pool of 100 m2 surrounded by a large and rich garden of 5000 m2 fully integrated in the Cycladic landscape and natural terrain of the island. A terrain for mini soccer, volleyball (artificial turf, 22x14m), a place for yoga - pilates and a lovely playground for small children had being added to the property for more entertainment. Showcasing a breathtaking panoramic view to the village and the nearby islands, both villas represent the proper definition of relaxation and revitalization! By believing in comfort and making the difference, we paid great attention to every detail that will make you feel "at home". Our both villas feature two levels: 1- a main entrance level with 1 living room with fireplace, home cinema, sat TV, air condition; a dining room; a fully equipped open plan kitchen ; 3 bedrooms and large outdoor space and 2- a lower level with 1 bedroom, ping pong (table with racquets) - gym area (electric gym runner, magnetic bicycle, multi-use equipment for 30 types of exercises using weights, abdominal bench, gym mat, Pilates ball, step - SPA area(sauna, hamam, jacuzzi) at the disposal of our customers & a laundry room. On the main level, each villa can cater 6 people, then both villas totally 12 people. On the lower level of Villa Dias there is a small suite for 4 people and on that one of Villa Aris there is a bedroom for 3 people, so both villas can finally cater up to 19 people. All bedrooms at both villas have air condition, a French door with a screen sieve, bedside tables, desk/dressing table, wardrobe, drawers, sat TV, DVD player, safe box, telephone, internet and those at the main level have unlimited sea view. A small melon field and herb patch guarantees few fresh biological vegetables for the visitor. The garden also offers many spots for relaxation and enjoying the view for those that would wish to explore it or be on private away from the swimming pool and the sitting areas. A small water cascade separates the children’s pool of 20 m2 from the big one 100 m2 which has a hydro massage. Around the pool, there are two built sitting areas with tables and comfortable sun beds. The small pool bar is equipped with a fridge and music system where you can always connect your mobile and play your preferable music even with airplay IOS or Android. Both villas are surrounded by big verandas, each of them has comfortable bamboo seats and a dining table and chairs for moments of relaxation and enjoying your meals. In the back, there is the barbecue and the traditional oven along with another dining set. Ideal for groups of friends and families, this new establishment can also prove to be ideal for larger groups who wish to spend their holidays together while retaining privacy between the two villas. What a beautiful and comfortable place for our group of 16\. So much room for everyone to spread out and hang out in different parts of the outdoor spaces. The house and grounds are impeccable thanks to the work of the caretakers, Achilles and Fotini, who are also very friendly and helpful.The house is in a great location, a short walk to the beaches and to the village. We are from the United States, and hosted a yoga retreat with our Yoga Soul company out of Utah at this gorgeous property. I have led retreats for over a decade, and this was the most perfect setting ever. Clean, spacious, beautiful, serene. There is even a yoga pavilion, on the property overlooking the Aegean Sea. Our host Vasilis ensured that everything was perfect for our arrival. Achilleas and his wife, Fofi, care take the property and were onsite caring for rooms, the property at large, and anything we needed. Stelios spent the first few days near us, to ensure all was perfect. Vasilis recommended a fantastic and kind chef, Tasos, and he came all of the way from Athens and created the most delicious Greek food for our group daily. Vasili and his team went above and beyond to provide everything that we might need during our stay, beginning with a wonderful welcome featuring a variety of tasty local products. Vasili and his team were responsive to every question and request that we had. A number of people in our party commented that, unlike most vacation rental properties, this one was actually even nicer than it appeared in the pictures. The pool was fantastic, the bedrooms comfortable, and all the outdoor spaces were beautiful, not to mention the spectacular views. Close enough to town to walk easily, but far enough out to feel like we were in a quiet, private area, the location was great. All in all, it was a fabulous experience for all of us and we would highly recommend this property. ##### Thomas O. The villas are absolutely amazing with stunning views and the perfect location. The facilities were excellent - the swimming pool was fabulous, not to mention the gym, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Vasilis was most hospitable and and a very generous host. He welcomed us with local drinks and delicacies. He provided us with great recommendations, arranged a chef Lefteris to cook the most delicious local meals on two evenings and provided two cars for us to use . The island of Koufonisia is breathtaking with magnificent turquoise spotless beaches and excellent restaurants and bars. It is very laid back with really welcoming people. From start to finish it was a holiday of a lifetime for all of us and we are looking forward to a return visit to the villa already. Cannot recommend this villa enough!! The pictures really don't do it any justice, you don't get as sense of the villa until you step inside. It's absolutely beautiful, clean, bright, spacious and full of all the amenities one would expect and then some, including the use of 2 cars. The views from the from hilltop it's located are amazing to say the least, with 5 min walk to the first beach. Perfect weather everday. Vasilis was a great host, gracious, responsive, and with great recommendations. Koufonisia is not a very large island but certainly packed with beautiful beaches, and we did find plenty of activities to fill our day. Séjour de 7 nuits en juillet 2019 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Tamara W. 13 sept. 2017 #### A perfect getaway - secluded & stunning haven in the Aegean maintained to the highest standards Thirteen of us from one large family stayed very comfortably in the two houses at Fanis’s property on a secluded hill top, a short (10 min) walk from town and beaches. The houses are kept immaculate - there is not a sign of wear anywhere. Plus the couple who come every day to service the houses are meticulous and discreet. It was very helpful to have the use of two vehicles to shuttle us about when hot or tired (or both). We employed the services of a chef from Athens called Tasos who was simply amazing - his help with all aspects of the catering (shopping, cooking, serving etc.) made our 14 nights even more relaxing and luxurious. The 2-part pool was very popular with all the children and adults. There are lots of chill out areas which can be enjoyed as a group or individually. The gardens are beautifully designed and maintained. We all got lots of sleep in air conditioned bedrooms and most of us benefited from en-suite. There is a strong breeze that blows across the island from time to time but this at least helped keep things cooler, and we got accustomed to it. Koufonissi is a small island and there are only a small number of beaches and services but we still found plenty to do over two weeks given that we took a very relaxed approach to every day! Would recommend this property without hesitation. ##### Tamara W.
