Panoramic Sunset and Water Views! Serenity! Pier! This is a lovely ground floor, corner unit for you to get away from it all with stunning sunset views. The unit is contained within a small 3 story condo complex offering privacy and peace year-round on the water and while you are enjoying the sand, water, pool, gazebo, or fishing pier. The Harbor Home has corner windows in the living room with view of the water and a master retreat with views of the sound and a comfortable king mattress. It is located on the ground floor for easy access to the beach and no stairs. The white sand is exactly 30 steps from your patio. The kitchen has new stainless appliances (2022), granite, and oak cabinets. A new front load washer and dryer was installed in 2023\. The Harbor Home is located on the sound side of the island and offers community charcoal grills under the covered gazebo, bike racks, and the capability to kayak, paddle board, or boat. So bring your kayak, paddle board, bike, boat, or jet ski. There is no trailer parking provided. There is gulf beach access with free parking just across the street, which is about an 8 minute walk or 1 minute drive. The building is adjacent to the Gulf Island National Seashore as well, which hosts miles of undeveloped beach with a bike path. My husband spends most of his time on the pier and I can sit on the patio and watch him or join him. Sunsets each night and dolphins in the sound in the morning. The only draw back was staying Memorial Day weekend and there were noisy tenants upstairs with children who ran up and down the halls constantly and a strange mechanical knocking noise that sounded to be plumbing related that would wake us up at odd hours but had nothing to do with this accommodation. Our only suggestion is a small folding step stool so kids can reach the bathroom sinks and a step ladder in the kitchen for us short folks We also brought booster cushions and 2qt air fryer for "chick-nuggies". A/C did go out momentarily while we were there but, the owner had it fixed and back up and running within a couole if hours, while we were out sightseeing. Although, we agreed to allow someone else to clean it, we couldn't stay outside waiting with my 77 year old mother while they finished. We ended up finishing ourselves but the property manager was wonderful through it all and returned our cleaning fee. The Good: everything else!!! Location amazing, we fished from the dock and grilled out every night. They had so many tv channels, but we spe t very little time watching. Furnished kitchen, with coffee maker. The location on the calm sound side next to a small beach was perfect for our child. The sand toys we could use were a great bonus. All the dishes we needed were included and the key pad check in was a breeze. (The ONLY negative was some mold/mildew in the front load washing machine. This seems to be an issue with EVERY front load washer, though.) The condo was clean, had lots of "extras" that made it feel like home, and was conveniently located for Gulf, sound, and National Seashore adventures. We would stay here again. ##### Alicia G. My friend and I needed an end of year getaway and we hit the jackpot with this property. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Also, everyone we met - locals to visitors - was wonderful. We have stayed in multiple condos at The Harbors & this one by far was the best! Melinda has done a great job providing everything you could possibly need while on vacation. Quiet, beautiful water view and plenty of activities close by if you are looking for other things to do. We rented a pontoon boat for the day close to the Navarre Bridge and explored the Santa Rosa Sound. That was so much fun! We saw all kinds of marine life, took food and anchored at one of the secluded beaches to fish and swim. The view of the Santa Rosa Sound from inside and on the patio of the condo captured our attention. I loved cooking in the well stocked kitchen and having a water view! The beautiful private pier, just steps away was a personal favorite for our first time fishing 13 yr old and my husband of 53 yrs. Lots of fish to see right off the pier and they caught plenty. Only caught one big enough to cook but the experience was perfect for them. They have a small private beach, again just steps away, that was never more than a few people. The Gulf is 5 min drive with easy access and no crowds! We liked to walk to it to get the exercise which was a pleasant no traffic walk. Great bike trail too! Our grandson had so many “first in his life experiences” we lost count! You won’t be disappointed! Wish we could have stayed 2 weeks instead of just one. ##### Wanda R. Séjour de 9 nuits en août 2022
