Apartment as advertised on quiet street in nice neighborhood. Nice Park nearby as well as tasty restaurant choices. Kitchen cooking stuff adequate in terms of pots and pans, nice assortment of spices, sugar and coffee to use. Beds were comfy. We stayed in downstairs apartment and it was loud in master bedroom when folks above us came home late at night- could be better soundproofing between floors. AC was also loud but worked well. (Parking in Nashville is outrageous!) The unit was clean and neat. There were certain amenities missing. There was no body wash/soap in the tub/shower. No washcloths in the bathroom. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Lots of cute shops. Need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and soap or body wash as none is provided. Hillsboro Village is a great location with many restaurants and shops within short walking distance. We were also able to walk to Vanderbilt, Belmont and the Parthenon. It was a short 10 minute drive into the city. The condo was updated, nicely decorated and clean. Molly was quick to respond and address any concerns. As mentioned in other reviews, you can hear guests moving about in the units above, but it wasn't overly loud or bothersome for us. The kitchen could use a few more cooking utensils but was otherwise nicely furnished. I woud stay here again and recommend this property. ##### Kristen B. We had a wonderful time. The furnace failed and I contacted Molly who sent the HVAC technician out right away. As soon as he determined that it would take a couple of days to get the needed parts, she sent enough space heaters to keep us plenty warm. This place was clean, cozy, and functional with all of the basic/expected amenities. The location was ideal for us going to and from Belmont and we especially loved the proximity of restaurants and shops to which we could easily walk in about 5 minutes give or take. This included the Pancake Pantry, Biscuit Love, Ruby Sunshine, and Jeni's ice cream. We also loved the free parking space which is a gem in this town. We were in the first floor unit with two units above us. We did hear some noise through the ceiling, and in particular in the morning, the early risers above us scooting their chairs in and out did wake us up. Also, the air conditioning system was loud in the living room. At night, we shut our door to the our room and it did not bother us. A few considerations though - may want to offer some healthier snacks, water and libations that have broader appeal as well as creamers to go with the coffee, maybe a coffee/tea tray. Basically, to watch TV there is only seating for (maybe) 3\. Another comfortable chair vs. the one that is there which is not really suited for lounging. The internet was spotty and did not support most stations so we weren’t able to watch it. Beds and linens were comfy. The bathroom towel sets and bath mats are worn and due for an update. And, since it was raining so much, we felt that a doormat - inside or out - would help as well as a place to hang jackets. Apr 28, 2024 Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Nashville Family Vacation Title: Mixed Experience at Short-Term Rental Our recent stay at the short-term vacation rental was a mix of positives and negatives. The property has been updated nicely, and the furniture was mostly functional, which added to our comfort during the stay. However, several issues detracted from the overall experience. One of the main issues we encountered was with the bathroom trash cans. They lacked liners, and the one we managed to find had a hole in it, indicating prior use. This oversight made the bathroom experience less than pleasant. Furthermore, there were drainage problems in the showers, forcing us to stand in dirty water while showering. This was quite inconvenient and detracted from the otherwise modern feel of the rental. Additionally, we had to deal with a beeping smoke detector battery, which required us to replace it ourselves. This maintenance issue should have been addressed before our arrival. Lastly, the kitchen was lacking in essential food prep items, such as a scrub brush or washcloth for doing dishes. This made preparing simple dinners a bit challenging and added unnecessary frustration to our stay. In conclusion, while the property’s updates and functional furniture were positives, the issues with the bathroom trash cans, shower drains, smoke detector, and kitchen amenities detracted significantly from our overall satisfaction with the rental. ##### Nicole W.
