We were able to walk many places to explore, have coffee, meals, late night ice cream. There is a fabulous park for kiddos very close to the house. Easy access to get to the highway in whichever direction we were headed for the days adventure. The house was clean, beds comfortable, decor simple but nice. We were appreciative at the grill out back for the evening we cooked in. It was helpful to have the option to add a pack and play and highchair to the home. There was a mixup, but the hosts were incredibly responsive and dealt with it immediately. Most notable with this vacation rental was the graciousness of the hosts and the clear communication throughout the entire process, including adding a couple of last-minute guests to our stay for our final evening. We loved having the nice Yamaha piano to play, and there is plenty of space for hanging out. After a five hour flight delay we finally arrived to this beautiful home. It had all the comforts of home and they even surprised us with warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival. A much appreciated gesture after a really long day! We were only two people, but it can definitely accommodate a much larger group comfortably. And you can’t beat the location! My husband and I stayed at this house with our 6 year old son and my mother. It was a great size for the 4 of us and we were commenting that we would book this house even if we had a few more people. The location is perfect. We walked everywhere, including the grocery store, and we always felt safe. The home was very clean and comfortable with plenty of towels and a well appointed kitchen. Property was well-equipped. Brought many things that I had missed on other trips to different rental properties. Kitchen was well equipped and already had everything I brought. Amazingly they even had a garlic press! Had I read the email from the owners the week before about what the kitchen/unit already had I wouldn't have brought anything. Only challenge I had was when I couldn't get the TV to work with Hulu -- completely operator error on my part. Email to owners was quickly answered with the solution. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful home that really is in walking distance (even for those slowed by age or injury) to Vanderbilt. Love the open floor plan. Nice kitchen with tons of dishes, pans, cutlery etc for cooking.
