Quaint Cottage close to Vanderbilt and Downtown

The Cottage is full of charm and located in trendy Midtown Nashville, with 13 windows for that light and airy feel and fresh everything! The kitchen has granite countertops, refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher plus washer, and dryer! Bathroom updated with subway tile, fixtures, floor. Both Queen beds with memory foam mattresses, fresh bed linens, blankets, and towels. Smart TV with free Wi-Fi in a spacious family room with sleeper couch; kitchen has everything needed to cook including the coffee pot and tea kettle.

Parking for The Cottage is in a private lot off the back alley. One free parking space is available on-site. We have free parking for 1 or 2 vehicles in a private lot about 2 miles away. We have identified additional street parking options close by on a first-come basis, and we have a free private lot about 2 miles away for any overflow vehicles at one of our other properties.

If you have trouble negotiating steps please study the pictures to make sure you can handle them.

Close to Vanderbilt medical center
This is a cottage located off an alley about 3 blocks from Vanderbilt Hospital. I had intended to walk there, but the triple-digit heat made that impossible. Every room contains thoughtful touches. The two wall A/C units (living room, bedroom) held their own for the first 3 days, but on my last night the bedroom unit wasn’t working as well and the room got warmer than I like. That is about the only thing I found wrong. Prospective guests should note that the stairs leading up to the unit are VERY uneven (each one a different rise up), a challenge for me at my age.

Great for a family of four!
This cottage is a nice quiet place tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. But you can easily walk downtown (2 miles) or Uber - and good places to eat nearby. Place was clean, check in a breeze. Would stay again!

We had a great time at this cottage!! It was comfortable and clean. Communication was excellent. We had one small issue at no fault of the owners but they were on top of getting it fixed for us even with an early morning phone call. A perfect place to unwind and rest after a busy day exploring!! This was a great place for my mom and sister and I. It was quiet and walkable to Hillsboro village, music row, restaurants, and two beautiful campuses (Vanderbilt and Belmont). Home away from home!
The cottage was very much a home away from home, especially for our young kids. We were able to use the bus to get around easily, and essentials were close by. The property was lovely and clean with everything we needed, as well as some extra touches that were very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this property!

A great little cottage
This cottage was terrific for our needs, close to our conference, food, and downtown Nashville. A little tricky to find as its behind where GPS takes you. Would definitely stay here if in the area again! Also, perfect location if you are visiting the colleges! Great hosts!

Perfect place to stay for our stay in Nashville. We have a freshman at Vanderbilt and we could walk to his dorm in under 5 minutes. Super close to Hillsboro Village for dining and shopping. We would definitely stay there again!

Husband and I came to Nashville for first time. This was a nice, quiet location but close enough to downtown and Broadway area. Older building so the floors are a little wonky, but the place was clean and comfortable. We did not cook much but there was basic equipment available. There is a washer/dryer in the unit with detergent pods which was helpful. Don't wash clothes when you want to wash tv because it is loud. Easy to get in and out of place with doorpad. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Enjoyed our short trip
We stayed here for a short vacation. Really enjoyed it! Location was great. Almost anything you would want to visit is going to be a short car ride away. Super quiet for being down town. As other reviews stated elderly/children may need to be extra careful on the stairs. Only small issue is the water pressure in the shower isn’t great although I’m not sure there is anything that can be done about that. Host instructions for parking and entering were clear. We would definitely book again!
