🏕️ THE CABIN:  
Oh Deer is perfectly designed for a romantic trip away, a friends weekend getaway, or a relaxing family vacation! The living room has comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and windows that showcase the wooded views. The full kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, including a full-sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The cabin has two bedrooms -- but also includes a sofa in the main living room and a twin bed area in the loft (perfect for kids!). The cabin has a full bathroom with stand-in shower.  
  
Outside, you'll love spending time in the private space enjoying the fresh air. There is a back deck with a dining table, and a firepit area in the privacy of your yard. It is a great place to relax after a long day of adventure. The outdoor space is a great spot to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or unwind in the evening with a glass of wine. A BBQ grill is also available to take advantage of a cookout!

The cabin is located in a peaceful, rural location in Mount Juliet, TN -- located just outside Nashville. It is on a 50+ acre wooded property. There are 3 other rentals located on the same property, although each is in a separate space.   
  
Our location offers the best of both worlds; enjoy the beauty and serenity of nature while taking advantage of local restaurants, attractions, and shopping. For those looking for outdoor activities, there are plenty of nearby hiking trails and sightseeing opportunities.

\* We provide a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soaps/shampoos, and detergent. If you have a large group or are staying for an extended period, you may need to purchase (or bring) additional items.  
\* Firewood is not provided but is available at most stores in the area.  
  
\* The house is located on a large property spanning over 50+ acres. There are a few other rentals on the property and each share the same driveway.  
  
\* We do provide pest control at the property. However, it is located in a wooded area surrounded by many types of wildlife. This includes bugs and insects such as flies, mosquitoes, ladybugs, stinkbugs, bees, etc. We do not offer refunds for bugs being onsite.  
  
\* We are unable to offer refunds due to weather or weather-related conditions, power outages, road conditions, or acts of God. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.  
  
\* We are unable to provide a late check-out without written approval. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10AM on their scheduled day of departure, the fee for failing to vacate is $100.00 for each half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property.  
  
\*\* This property has two outside security cameras facing the driveway and exterior.  
There is a strict no-smoking policy inside the cabin. Guests who violate this policy will be charged an additional $500 cleaning fee.

#### Property Maintenance

It needs better maintenance, the lock has an issue with lining up to get it locked. The curtain was tore down for the utility room. A drawer was broken on the kitchen island. The bathroom room sink has an issue with the hot water faucet. The outside hose was laying out in the yard not hung back up. Trash bags laying on the ground, not in the dumpster. Lawn chairs laying in the fire pit. The inside trash can stunk terribly. It's sad because I really like the location and the concept of being a cabin in the woods. I slept good, the beds were comfortable. There needs to be instructions on how to operate the tv and the TV remote needs new batteries.

#### Summer Camp meets House

Well first off there apparently was some sort of computer glitch and the door code was not sent. VRBo helped get through to the property management company. You would think someone would check. Then we did not have the password to the wifi and cell service is poor. I managed to find the modem and got the passcode. Please note the loft is not really a sleeping spot. It’s a thin pad on a throw carpet on plywood. You can see insulation. It’s really hot It reminds of. A crawl space in the attic. There was a try of half eaten pizza bagels in the closet. The couch looked dirty and had dog hair. The blanket smells like wet dog. Like even the toilet paper holder was broken. The decorations are cute. But the place looked very rustic. The outside was a wreck as well. The trash can was gross when I was taking trash out. And outside had a lot of trash bags just pilling up. We took pictures but I really don’t think the management company cares. I like rustic but this place has issues. Wiring and plumbing had issues too.

We enjoyed our stay however the property definitely could be cleaner and minor maintenence issues like loose shower curtain rod and loose toilet paper holder. No major issues but like I stated above the place could use a good cleaning.
