Letterpress Loft is steps from the music and bars of Printer's Alley and two blocks from the prime honky tonks of downtown Broadway Avenue. Walking distance to Bridgestone Arena, Titan's Nissan Stadium, Ryman Auditorium, Country Music Hall of Fame and City Music Center. Plus all the main downtown Nashville tourist attractions. This is a self-owned, self-managed loft and our goal is that you feel you're in someone's home and not a standard rental. The loft is located in an renovated warehouse built in 1905 that operated as a commercial printing company for decades (hence our "letterpress" name!). Soaring ceilings, huge wooden columns, original brick walls, industrial ductwork and the open layout transport you back to another time. And yet, the home is equipped with personalized, secure electronic door locks for independent check-in, high speed wifi, and Smart TV's. Parking pass (including in/out privileges) available for additional $25 per day. A few items to note prior to booking to ensure this loft is the right fit for you: 1\. There are smart TVs for you to log into with programs (ie Netflix, Pandora, etc). There is local TV but no cable. 2\. If you are sensitive to noise, this loft may not be the best choice. The central, downtown location and the age of the building does come with the trade-off of some noise. A stay in Music City means live performances in bars in every direction. Including a Printer's Alley bar in the basement of our building. When staying in the unit you may hear music, occasional sirens, cars parking in neighboring garage or people enjoying nearby bars or in neighboring lofts. It's not blaring but it can be noticeable and we want to manage expectations up front. A spa sound machine, portable fan and earplugs are provided to ease any minor disturbances. However, if this causes concern you may want to select another location. 3\. If a view is important to you, then this loft is NOT the best choice. There are large, industrial windows, an outdoor balcony space and an amazing central downtown location. The view, however, is...a parking garage. Both of us slept wonderfully well. And aside from the odd city siren (which you would expect in a city) we didn't think it was loud, as warned in the description. Coffee mugs were a good, generous size, which we very much appreciate! Easy walking distance to all things downtown. The paid parking that's offered with your booking is handy and super close! It was our first time to Nashville and this was the perfect location to be able to walk down to Broadway and see it all. The loft was very clean and the bed was SO comfortable. The property was beautiful and well cared for. There was great communication with the host leading up to the stay, it was exactly what we had hoped, and the location was perfect. We have been to Nashville 7+ times over the past few years. This place was hands down the best of everything. 1\. Love the top notch design details. This is not your average rental. The best of everything was put into this place. 2\. Location. The short walk to Broadway or so many of the restaurants could not have been any better! 3\. Security. We felt so safe staying in this area. 4\. Noise.....It is mentioned as a negative, but we never heard of thing. We did stay Monday-Thursday, but it was not an issue. 5\. Parking. This is so important to us. I recommend using the parking that is listed. It was close and easy. The only problem we encountered was the small step up to the bedroom and bath. The beautiful wood floors blend into each other....one of us "may" have taken a spill after having so much fun. We placed a small table at the entrance of the room to remind us of the step! Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful place. We will never stay anywhere else from now on. ##### Teri D. Our stay at this loft was amazing!!! The loft was extremely clean with a very cool vibe. It’s decorated like a modern, antique, eclectic... all mixed together design with lots of character in this old building. Very spacious! It's perfect for 2 but can sleep 4 if you don't mind a sleeper sofa and not much privacy. The lighting created a beautiful ambiance. Everything was well maintained. There really is no view including from the small balcony off the bedroom, as the host emphasized prior to our booking so no surprise. We didn't mind at all. The location of this loft is perfect! Steps away from Printer's Alley, and a couple of blocks from Broadway St. where all the Honky Tonks are located. It's also a short walk to the Food Hall. We never needed to take our car out of the parking garage during our stay. (we did uber back from our food tour) You can hear the music at night from this loft, but ear plugs are provided. We didn't need them, as the noise wasn't bad at all and did not bother us. I highly recommend staying here! Christy was a great host! She provided very detailed paperwork so there was never any confusion. She also provided some great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the Nashville area. We can't wait to go back and hope to stay here again!! ##### Robin B.
