There is an upstairs suite, which is great but the stairwell to the upper section is not blocked or sound proofed at all. You can hear very clearly other people. During our stay the smoke alarm went off at 2am, assuming it was from another living space since we were sleeping during this. Nashville has a lot of very low quality condo builds, you can hear the people above you clearly when they are speaking a normal talking volume. I could hear them even unzip their suitcase in their bedroom clear as day. Paper thin walls, ear plugs are a must for sleeping. The area is close to music row but located right across the street from government housing so I would be wearing of walking at night. The listing did not highlight the rough neighborhood and run down housing across the street. We had never had an issue with checking in to any Vrbo property before but apparently this place is managed by another company out of Phoenix. Could not get access to house as lock box information not sent. Had to call to get box code info sent (at 8pm at night with an exhausted and screaming 6yo and 18 month old). Discovered the front door would not lock back despite calling company, sending videos, expressing extreme concern for safety of family security. Company sent a tutorial video on how to lock but would still not work. Rep offered to send a maintenance worker eventually but we had to vacate the property and just book a hotel 20 minutes outside of town. Still waiting to be contacted by manager/supervisor on the issues status of looking into any sort of refund...TBD. Would not book again. ##### Joshua S.
