Vanderbilt Beach was a close, easy drive with ample parking in the garage if you don't get there too late. The heated pool was a huge plus for the kids especially with the unseasonably cool weather. Be careful on the back patio, as it is extremely slippery when wet. Our 7 year old son suffered a concussion after slipping backwards and hitting his head. Then our 10 year old daughter followed that up the next day by slipping and landing awkwardly on her hand and arm. Neither turned out to be major concerns, but thought others should be given notice. If you plan on cooking any meals, take a quick inventory of house goods. Other than salt and pepper, we had to purchase anything else needed. Stacey was quick to respond to our messages and helped us out with dishwasher pods and trash bags upon not having enough for our stay. The neighborhood is quiet other than some light road construction and we had no issues with any neighbors. You are about 20 minutes from downtown but most of anything you'll need is a 5 minute drive. We enjoyed our stay and definitely did not want to head back north. We'd recommend this house to others without hesitation. ##### Derek B. Only minor downside was construction that is going on in Naples Park but that's outside the owners control and not terribly inconvenient, just brought in a little more dirt than we would have wanted.
