La Camera Chiara is located right in the heart of the city’s historic center, 100 meters from the Duomo stop on Metro Line 1, designed by the renowned architect Fuksas. It is 100 meters from the Port of Naples, where you can board ferries to the Aeolian Islands, the Pontine Islands, as well as Ischia, Capri, and Procida. All major tourist and cultural attractions are just a few minutes’ walk away. Supermarkets and parking garages are right next door.
Via Duomo is one of the oldest streets in Naples’ historic center. In Roman times, it was the *cardo maior*, or the longest and largest of the ancient city’s main thoroughfares; in fact, it intersects the three main *decumani*: the *Decumano Maggiore*, the *Decumano Superiore* (Via dell’Anticaglia), and the *Decumano Inferiore* (Spaccanapoli).
Its name derives from the presence of the Naples Cathedral.
