The house, on the ninth floor of a building with elevator, opens onto the living room, furnished with some sofas facing the TV and the balcony overlooking the city. Next to it is the kitchen equipped with all amenities including a dishwasher, an oven and a kettle, and a dining table. Access to the balcony makes the room very bright. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom, the other with a queen-size bed and a single sofa bed. An additional bathroom with bathtub completes the layout. Free wifi, air conditioning and individual heating will be available in the accommodation. \*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy. "When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave," they say. Naples is a unique city, to be experienced by walking through the alleys, smelling the scent of gastronomic delicacies in the air, and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage. Naples has a distinctive culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO. Strolling through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, one traverses its thousand-year history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Duomo di Napoli and the Maschio Angioino. If there is one place that symbolizes Naples, it is Piazza del Plebiscito, now a symbol of the new 'Neapolitan Renaissance' where tourists come to admire its grandeur and two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace. Today it is also possible to visit 'the underground city', or the so-called 'belly of Naples', which served the Neapolitans as a refuge during the bombing raids, where tourists can walk through the Greco-Roman aqueduct, the air-raid shelters, and finally visit the War Museum. Particularly to be noticed is the San Severo Chapel, which houses the sculpture of the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious works to be seen in Naples, the work of Giuseppe Sanmartino. Nice lighting, very quiet in a lovely area close to Piazza Amadeus, the metro and Certosa Funicular. There was excellent air conditioning and strong wifi. It was a great area to walj aling the Lungomare at Sunset. Plenty of taxis at the metro station, a cute cafe very close, and supermarket 5 minutes walk. We did not cook much but pots and pans were good quality. There was no oil, salt, herbs, etc. We would definitely stay here again! It felt so comfortable at the end of a long day sightseeing. There are a few stairs in the lobby. Next to the street entrance is a small shop with eggs, meat, pasta, produce. We felt very safe. ##### Nancy D.
