Welcome to Blackridge Resort! Come enjoy the perfect mountain cabin right on the edge of Kootenai National Forest. Hot tub, hiking trails, fire pit, and tons of additional amenities! 30 minutes to Schweitzer, 25 minutes to Sandpoint, 10 minutes to downtown Bonners Ferry. Blackridge Resort is an adorable cabin retreat, located one mile up our private driveway in the Selkirk Loop. One bedroom one spacious bathrooms fully outfitted kitchen and a cozy living room. There is always something exciting happening at the cabin! AMENITIES: \-Large deck with a gas grill \-Hot tub on secluded back deck \-Large yard with horseshoe and bean bag toss games, plenty of chairs to relax \-Fire pit, the perfect place to cook s'mores and stargaze \-Hiking trails \-Recreational equipment (skis, snowshoes, kayaks, bikes and more) available to guests,fee may apply to some items \-2 TVs with ROKU and DVD player. Hundreds of movies to choose from. \-Wi-fi throughout property \-Onsite gym \-Free washer/dryer WE DO LIVE ON PROPERTY, however, the cabin and its amenities are separate from our house and it is yours to enjoy in complete privacy. This cabin is perfect for someone who wants an outdoor experience with luxury amenities. We are located on dozens of acres of our family's privately-owned land, and surrounded by tens of thousands of acres of National Forest land. You will experience the sights and sounds of nature and farmland, with eagles and hawks soaring overhead, and the distant sound of mooing cows in the valley below. On our hiking trails, you won't see other people, but you may see deer, elk, moose, or even bears! Town is close-by; Bonners Ferry is only a ten minute drive away, and we are just 25 minutes from Sandpoint and 30 to Schweitzer. There is always something to see and do in the area, and we provide our guests with so many suggestions for local shopping, dining, and recreation that you might need to visit more than once to see it all! Included with your stay is one bundle of firewood, propane for the grill, and cleaning of cabin. We also provide coffee and a few basic condiments. Come relax, rejuvenate and have some fun at Blackridge Resort! Guest access Guests have access to: \-Fire pit \-Decks and yard \-Hot tub \-Onsite gym \-Hiking trails Other things to note PLEASE READ, IMPORTANT INFO: Please look at the aerial view of the property to get a good idea of the layout! Cabin is on private land owned entirely by our family. WE DO LIVE ON-PROPERTY, but cabin is completely separate from the main house. Hot tub, decks, and yard are out of view of our house. The cabin faces a completely different direction from the main house. Landscaping and fencing separate the guest area, and guests do not share any spaces of any kind with us. We rarely see our guests after check-in! Please message us for any additional questions. PETS: We welcome 1 dog for a fee. Dog must be on leash when outside. If dog cannot be in crate when alone we offer a beautiful outdoor dog kennel for your use. CHILDREN: Children 2 and over must be listed on reservation and do count as a guest. COOKING: Please make yourself at home, but cooking of seafood must be cooked on the outdoor grill. SMOKING: NO smoking or vaping of any kind allowed ANYWHERE on property, this is non-negotiable. No candles , incense or any other flammable items are allowed at any time. You will be asked to leave if found to be breaking this policy. The cabin was not only very clean, but it was so beautiful and decorated just perfectly for a cabin. The hot tub was so amazing. I love how secluded it was. The owners do live on the same property, but they did not bother us whatsoever and it was very quiet up there. they seem like very nice people and it was kind of nice to know that someone else was on the property for safety reasons. Beautiful views with excellent hosts, with two of the sweetest, best doggoes, living on the property. So many extra little touches of hospitality including muffins and makings for mimosas and a goodbye snack and drink bag for your trip home. The owners were so friendly and everything was spotless. Close to hiking and many more activities. The hot tub was private and had the best view of the valley below. Close to town with many restaurants close by. We loved our stay here. Our stay far exceeded expectations! The pictures don't do it justice. The property was spotlessly clean and very relaxing. The view is unparallelled, and the cabin was very private. Morning coffee on the porch enjoying the view to evening star gazing from the hot tub we’re daily activities we loved on the premises. Also took full advantage of the workout cabin and fire pit! Kip and Jennifer were fun to get to know, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Fresh veggies from the garden, a thoughtful welcome basket of goodies, wonderful touches throughout the cabin.
