My updated condo features unobstructed views of Maui's beautiful turquoise waters with Molokai and Lanai in the background. The striking panoramic views will immediately put you in your own slice of island paradise. Enjoy this modern space with all the amenities and comforts you desire. Each bedroom has new luxurious queen beds. The full-sized kitchen has everything from a coffee station with complimentary Hawaiian coffee to get you started and even your own washer and dryer. Smart TV's with access to all your favorite apps, board games and cards. There is a shared complex pool with a barbecue area on the ground floor. The condo is walking distance to restaurants and rental shops and a short drive to the gorgeous beaches at Kapalua, Kaanapali, and Lahaina. The Bedrooms and Bathrooms: The back bedroom (Garden Room) has a luxurious queen-sized bed, 43-inch flat panel smart TV, full closet, and its own in-suite full bathroom. The main bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The front bedroom (Ocean Room) has a luxurious queen-sized bed, private access to the lanai in the front, so you can wake up and step out to breathe in the fresh air and drift asleep each night to the crashing waves. Kitchen: My kitchen is fully stocked - oven, microwave, air-fryer, coffee bar and all the necessities to make an amazing meal. Enjoy your meals out on the lanai or at the inside dining table which seats four. Living Area: This living area boasts a modern and breezy design. Enjoy a Smart TV, board games, decks of cards, and an oversized chair for relaxing. Parking: Enjoy having your own parking spot in the underground parking area as well as additional parking in the front if you have guests. The pool is open from 9 am to 9pm and has a barbecue area and there is even an outdoor shower. The kayak/ surfboard storage area is behind the front office. The Neighborhood: This tropical retreat is located in Honolani resort in Maui - Building A. Hololani is right on the majestic waters of the Pacific Ocean, sailing, fishing, and scuba diving at your fingertips - not to mention a front row seat for spotting humpback whales and sea turtles! Enjoy having breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the lanai staring at the ocean! Wake up each morning to birds singing, swaying palm trees, and the teal blue waters of the ocean... there is no escaping the absolute UNOBSTRUCTED view from this condo! On mild rainy days, you often can see beautiful rainbow after a mild shower right from the lanai. Other amenities include a freshwater swimming pool, free high speed wireless internet, cable, (4) Tommy Bahama folding beach chairs for beach days, beach umbrella and beach towels. Enjoy sitting on the lanai or the couch, there is a beautiful view wherever you are. The condo is conveniently located minutes away from many of Maui’s famous activities, luxury shopping areas, pristine beaches, lush green tropical sights, farmers market, hiking trails, golf courses and restaurants. \*\*I do not charge management fees, resort fees, or charge for parking like other resorts do, there are NO hidden resort fees. \*\*Please note this unit DOES NOT have air conditioning! Tradewinds off the West Maui mountains keep it cool and I have ceiling fans and others throughout the unit. Also, direct beach access is currently limited due to high tide conditions and winter/spring erosion. During the winter months North swells create a wash away effect on the sandy beaches. The summer months bring South swells which help bring the sand back to the beaches. The resort has placed sandbags along the shoreline to protect the beach from further erosion. There is beach access at some of the neighboring resorts (Sands of Kahana) as well as Pohaku Beach (S turns) which is .3 miles from the resort. \*Please Note: Hololani is undergoing an above-ground waterproofing & spalling repair scheduled to start March 27, 2023 and complete around July 15th, 2023 (these dates are subject to change). Close to marathon, which was purpose for visit. Lovely view. Super clean. Great spot. I wish we had stayed here for our entire trip! This condo is beautifully decorated and is in a good location. The sunsets were amazing. We saw many whales breathing & breeching every few min throughout the day from the balcony. Take your binoculars or zoom lens, as they are a little far away but easy to spot if you take a few min to just relax and watch for them. We may have all fought over the egg chair as it’s very comfy! The drive to the condo is miles of driving seaside & it’s breathtaking. It was 80ish during our visit and it was warm when we came back each afternoon, but a few min after opening the doors and windows it cooled off quickly. There is a sliding door on the backside where others can walk by. We left it closed the first night as we didn’t realize there is a lock to prevent it from opening more than a few inches and we were warm. The following night we found the lock and were very comfortable with it locked open. It’s wild what a difference those few inches make for airflow throughout the entire condo. For reference we live in NC where our winters average around 45 and summers in upper 90’s. Our home thermostat is always set to 65\. I was a little worried about the lack of AC, especially with my mid 40’s personal summers that hit in the middle of the night. We were all comfortable with the front windows open and the back door slightly ajar as described above. We would absolutely stay again even without AC. ##### Misty L. Enjoyed the condo, beautiful views, comfy beds, comfortable furniture. Surprised by the coffee, tea, laundry soap, dishwasher soap provided. Lots of extra towels. Watched whales each morning from the lanai, and watched sunsets from the lanai which was a great spot to eat dinner. Other reviews complained of lack of plates, the 3 of us did fine with the 7 there (no cutting board though). Glad there was a lot of plastic storage containers for extra food. The sliding door in the spare bedroom got a little hard to close near the end of 2 weeks. No problems with opening sliding doors in both bedrooms for cross ventilation. The bedroom tv is not connected to cable or internet and have to unplug to turn off. Spent a few hours on 2 different days with Spectrum getting internet and cable hooked up to living room tv. The host is not local and will respond within a few days. The location is quiet with less traffic than further south. Several restaurants and stores are within easy walking distance. Except for our issues with tv connectivity it was an enjoyable stay, would return to this condo. ##### Elaine R. The location is amazing!! The dishwasher and laundry pods were a great feature and very much appreciated. The sliding doors in the bedrooms were problematic (1 never opened at all, given there’s no ac would’ve been better if this would have opened). However, the owner needs to supply more plates, bowls, etc. There was only two of us but a family of 4 or more would not have enough. Also, we had to immediately go purchase soap and shampoo. There was none. There was a TV in the bedroom but it wasn’t even plugged in and no batteries in the remote. Sliding doors are extremely hard to get open. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Place was comfortable and had nice ceiling fans to keep unit cool. Excellent ocean views from condo and from nice/large lanai. Unit is on 2nd floor. Hololani complex is in good location in Kahana - walking distance to many things. Underground assigned parking was nice. Unit is next to elevator and was convenient. Living/dining/kitchen area was nicely furnished and decorated. Bedrooms too. Bathrooms are a bit small, but good water pressure. Had trouble with unit maintenance as sliding door to lanai from master bedroom was broken/not working. contacted owner, who did respond quickly about it but the problem was never fixed during our stay - which was a bummer not to be able to open and get ocean breeze in bedroom. Maybe some more plates needed? there were only 3 small plates. Nice to have coffee and tea there for us and laundry pods - washer/dryer was very nice. Note no soap/conditioner/bath gel - bring your own. Only thing we did not like is 2nd bedroom has glass windows/sliding door that opens directly onto the common outdoor walkway - so no privacy. Kept door/curtains shut entire time - so no breezes. there is no private balcony area - so a bit odd to have it open to common condo area walkway- better to just have a window that opens with levers as other places have - but that is not owner's fault - just an oddity of the complex design. the pool area is nice and had 3 bbqs. complex was well maintained. ##### kristine a. The view is amazing, the neighborhood is quiet, the beds are really comfortable. Having large doors on both sides of the apartment makes it quick and easy to cool the rooms off in the evening with the winds (we have stayed elsewhere that only had tiny windows on one side, which did nothing to keep the place cool-this is so much better!). The kids loved the pool, which was never crowded. Napili Beach is a two minute drive. It was great to have 3 beach chairs and an umbrella to use, and even a snorkel. Plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood if you don't feel like cooking, or head down to the other end of Lower Honoapiilani Road and grab some tasty takeout at the food truck park.
