This rustic old beach house has been lovingly renovated with updated appliances, bathrooms while keeping it's charming character. Beachy house is right near “Children’s” Beach, walking distance from the Steamship Ferry and a block from downtown. We are right near the edge of the Brant Point area closest to town. Stroll home from dinner and cocktails. We are less than a block from the harbor and beach. We are doors away from the White Elephant Hotel and Lola 41\. The yard of our cute, little 3 bedroom two bathroom house is surrounded by privet hedges and feels quite private. Please note that the entrance from the driveway enters into the master bedroom located on 1st floor. We have one parking space in the small driveway. The house has central air conditioning. Our yard yard has a gas grill, table and chairs a swing and an outdoor shower so you can leave the beach behind! We think you'll love our cute house and especially the location! Lastly, we urge our guests purchase outside travel insurance that covers trip cancellations due to dangerous travel conditions from bad weather since we are on an island subject to wind and high seas. A 5 minute (or less) walk into downtown, proximity to Jettie's beach, and Children's beach, and all other sights within Brant Point. The home itself has two great sized rooms and one smaller room. There were a few things we wished we had known about before arriving to prepare a bit better for our stay. The mini splits upstairs did not function properly at all, making sleep accommodations for our young child very challenging. Unfortunately the noise from outside prevented us from being able to open the windows. Additionally, the home itself is in need of some upkeep on things such as the storm door at the front not closing on its own, the upstairs toilet seat being very loose, and a missing lock on the second entry way at the master bedroom. The house gets very bright very early in the morning, so definitely plan ahead if you're not wanting to be up with the sun! We also experienced some issues with the cleanliness of the home (no sponges available to do dishes in the kitchen, towels still in the dryer when we arrived, and pillowcases that needed to be washed by us due to make up or other staining left from previous renters).We appreciated the efforts of the owners once we shared our experiences when we arrived but, as previously noted, we would have planned a bit differently for our trip had we known a bit more of what to expect prior to our arrival. ##### Jordan L.
