Everything about this home was just as advertised. We had a wonderful first impression by hearing & seeing their lovely water feature in the side yard. The rooms were spotless & the yard & patio were like an oasis. The amenities provided were really thoughtful. Our hosts were friendly & responsive. We are on our mid 70s & found the outdoor cement steps a little steep when carrying luggage, especially since there is no railing for the bottom 2 steps. We managed it & loved staying there but people with limited mobility should be aware of this.

Lovely getaway

We really loved our stay! The place is beautifully cared for and very comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely with lots of walking trails and a small shopping area close by. We hope to return!

This was our second stay here, we enjoyed it so much the first time! It’s very comfortable, private, with air conditioning during the heat wave. It’s easy check-in with nice welcoming touches. And a great location near walking trails and shopping. Great place!, we had another very lovely stay!

Ideal Location

This well-kept property in Nanaimo North is close to several excellent restaurants, shopping, numerous walking trails, sea-side parks and easy access to highways. There is a separate bedroom with lots of closet and drawer space. Great stay.

Peaceful, well appointed, comfy home away from home.

The hosts are amazing, prompt communication, well appointed amenities in a private and quiet setting. Our suite was very easy to find in a quiet neighbourhood with excellent parking and access. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, and we’d highly recommend Susan and Paul’s wonderful home.

Great Stay in Nanaimo

We spent most of our time out and about enjoying the area. However we found our Suite was spacious, clean and a great place to come back to and relax. The back yard and private patio was probably our favorite. Great place to end our day with a glass of wine and relax. We only met with Susan for a brief visit but she was very nice and willing to help make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic!

Property is immaculate. My quarters were spotless and had everything that I needed for my stay. Susan and Paul were the best of hosts and Macy (the dog) was wonderful company. I would return again in a heartbeat and can highly recommend the property and especially the hosts.

Home away from home

We stayed here for a week in July, and thoroughly enjoyed it! From the wonderful welcoming touches (wine, chocolate & snacks), to the elegant yet super comfortable decor, it surpassed our expectations! The bed was very comfortable, with lovely linens. The neighborhood is very quiet and close to ammenities, and to the Linley Valley trail system. The hosts are gracious and helpful. We have nothing but good things to say about this home away from home and would definitely stay again! Thank you Susan and Paul for a wonderful week!

This comfortable and cozy yet spacious place is very private w the most comfy mattress for sleeping. Its location is in a wonderful neighborhood near trails and water and truly a great central place to stay as you explore the island. Nothing feels too far from this place! And you can come “home” to peace and quiet once you’ve had your fill of daily adventuring. An evening or morning sitting outside to relax in the private yard and patio offers an additional welcome for quiet time to start or end your day.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The place was spotless and incredibly comfortable especially the bed, which was amazing. The neighborhood was fantastic, with so many great trails for exploring. Clean, quiet, very attractive suite with lovely outside covered patio. We had a perfect two-day stay while on business in Nanaimo. Very quiet neighborhood, but still close to shopping and restaurants. Overall, an excellent stay—we will book here again in the future.
