"This was the best equipped accomodation we've ever rented. Douglas and Joanne have a lovely home with everything you will need for a comfortable stay from a coffee grinder to bicycles and helmets!
We appreciated the comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms, recliners in the living room, the fireplace, . . . we could go on and on.
We hope to come back soon."
"Everything was great except for the cleanliness of the room. There was a smell in one of the corners right beside the bed. There was thick dust on top of the headboard. There were brown stains on the bathroom door. The amenities were great. Love the coffee machine in the optimism lounge & the water dispenser. The front staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable. "
"This spa is unique, picturesque with plentiful staff that are friendly and helpful. The different types of accommodation were thoughtfully and tastefully arranged on the property. The quality of the food was first class (if pricey). The kitchenette and gas fire made the room much more comfortable.
Some of the equipment in the gym could be better maintained; and it would be a bonus if the pool beside the gym had thermal water. Having bars of soap for handwashing in the room would have been...
"The visit was decent. Scott at the front counter went above and beyond with customer service. The room itself was clean but a cramped washroom and a couple stains on the couch and throw blanket. Otherwise, the bedding was clean. "

"The motel room was very clean and quaint. They focus on locally sourced items, from coffee to the art in the rooms. The beds were comfortable, the kitchenette very handy and the information package was beyond what most offer. The owner was very helpful and was able to accommodate a special request. We highly recommend this motel."
